BENKS 2-in-1 Magnetic Phone Grip & Stand for MagSafe, Aramid Fiber Design

Really great materials and build quality on this grip. I tried a cheap double ring before, and this is way lighter and thinner, while still being basically just as useful in terms of working as a stand. I like the fold out ring on the friction hinge, it is very sturdy and easy to orient. The main body is a fairly reassuring brushed aluminum texture, and the grip ring is surfaced with their aramid fiber weave which also feels very satisfying and is strong. I'm going to be using this grip on my new Fold 8, with the benks armor air case on it. For anyone wondering, the cyan aramid pattern matches exactly with that (which I think is a big advantage, it makes it look sort of subtle / just the metal ring part is obvious at a first glance). That said, I've had this on my Fold 7, and it's been adjustable and strong enough to work for that device. My only critique is that the silicone stretch stuff that holds the grip part on seems sort of loose, but I see other reviews saying it's too tight, so like, whatever.

I own both the regular version and the Armor Pop variation of this product, and I have to say, this one definitely feels a bit more premium. It’s essentially the same idea as the magnetic phone grip ring holder stand, but the materials make a noticeable difference. The older version had a sticker on the outer cover that made it feel cheaper. This one actually uses Kevlar/aramid fiber, and it has a nice textured feel and slight grip that makes it more pleasant to hold. I was looking for an affordable phone grip holder that could also double as a stand, and this one really fits the bill. As a grip, it works well—you can slide your finger through the loop or pinch it between the two straps. I use it with an iPhone 16 Max, and while it’s not comfortable to hold for extended periods, especially with a heavier phone, it’s totally fine for short use. The plastic straps do feel a bit flimsy and like they might snap, but I’ve been using mine for over five months without any issues. The stand is actually one of my favorite features. It’s well-built and offers a good range of angles, so you can stand your phone up vertically or tilt it nearly flat. The hinge is sturdy and holds up well, even if you leave your phone propped up for a while. This is probably where the product really shines, especially compared to traditional ring holders. The MagSafe connection works as expected, it sticks securely and doesn’t slide around, but this does depend a lot on the case you’re using. If you have one of Benk’s Kevlar-style cases, I’d highly recommend picking this up. It complements the design nicely and adds a lot of functionality without compromising the look.

Was very happy with the product initially, but after a few months of use the piece of plastic that connects the finger loop to the base broke. It was after the return period and therefore ineligible for return. Amazon customer service was unhelpful. My conclusion is that the product is defective. The major moving component is connected with cheap, thin plastic lightly glued to the base and it will not hold up.

I purchased this along with the Benks ArmorGrid Air case for my Z Fold 8. While I absolutely love the case, the phone grip & stand isn't quite up to the same standards. Not that if feels cheap, but the pop up seems a bit flimsy. The magnets holding the pop up are a bit weak and it moves around when not in use. Also the rubber/plastic straps that you can slide your finger through seems like it might develop some issues with heavy use. Time will tell. The stand itself seems solid and has a good amount of tension to allow for multiple angles. The stand does not rotate on its own, you have to rotate the whole magnet. I could see this scratching the back of the case over time. The thing I really like about it though is that it is very slim. I have no problem leaving it on the phone all the time. While it says in the description that you have to remove it to use Magsafe charging, this does seem to work on some of my magsafe chargers.

Got mine as part of a package that included the Benks case and screen protector for my new Fold 8. It's a great add-on, providing a stand as well as a freely rotating grip for the phone. The grip part is totally flat and light but secure. You can hold it between two fingers or thread a finger through the middle, which is what I do. Makes holding the phone feel perfectly solid and effortless, and the magnet holds it securely to the case. It's also very light, adding hardly any weight at all. Slides easily into my pocket and it's never caught on anything. You need this accessory.

I like it's slim profile on my phone. It's magnet is adequate I think, but maybe it could be a little stronger. Maybe it's because I use a phone case and that reduces the magnetism. Time will tell if I truly love the item.

This ring stand SUCKS!!!! 1. The inner circle already broke after only 2two uses with me being incredibly careful. 2. The outer hinge is so loose sometimes and so tight other times. 3. The damn thing is so loosely connected to my phone case. It keeps twisting and turning when I DON'T want it to. And then when I DO want it to, the damn thing won't stay where I move it to. And 4. The cheap plastic on the inner circle is too uncomfortable with how much it bends and even twists. Yes, IT TWISTS!!!!!! WHY!?!?!? I DON'T KNOW!!!! Not worth it. I want a refund.

Decent strength on the magnet. Not as strong as an O snap. Very versatile. Let’s you stand the fold 8 in many ways. The finger slot is easy to access and large enough for people with larger sized fingers

Incredible phone grip. Love that you can move it 360 degree's. Prop your phone at any angle. Amazing metal build to last long. Beautiful colour. Love how it matches my case I purchased from them. The aramid fiber on it compliments it amazingly. Benks doesn’t disappoint.

Very good design and worth it

This attachment is low profile, but does all I could ask it to do. Together with the Benks kevlar case, it looks great and they do not add too much to the phone bulk.
