I think they are the same. I looked up the one I bought and it says ft1pe1001 in the title and in the product description the ei is included. I think there is no difference except in the price. The customer service for this company is very good and you will get a quick response so you could ask them directly to be certain. I am personally very happy with this product, have been using it for 2 years and it is the best at home skin tightening gadget for me.
