What is the country of origin? I've seen organic brands with onion from Egypt...would prefer USA.

The UPC code #898 show's that this is a product grown/produced in China, is that corrert?

I Googled UPC Barcodes by country ...and found a fount of confusing info. Bottom line was a product can be made (origin) in 1 country, manufactured (processed) in another, packaged in yet another, etc., etc. & have the barcode of any.

Might be a silly question, but these do have a shaker cap on them right? It's not just an open glass bottle when you unscrew the lid?

It does indeed have a shaker top. The top as on most dried seasoning can be removed if you want to measure a tblespoon etc. . I am very happy with all the simply organic products with the exception of the garlic powder which I find too strong smelling and tend to dominate a recipe.

Do any of these products have MSG

I truly love the Simply Organic brand of herbs and spices. They are always fresh and smell divine. They come in the perfect size so I know I will use them before they have a chance to go stale. The premium ingredients make them a great value. I have never received a broke bottle, or one without a seal. They always arrive perfectly and good to go. I keep them sealed until I'm ready to use them and when I remove the seal, it smells and tastes like the ingredients were just freshly put in the jar. I used this onion powder this week and it really enhanced the flavor of my dish. Highly Recommend!
