It works as promised! I do get some grounds sticking to the insides that do not shake out. I do not currently use RDT on my beans, so that could fix this, but I don’t like the idea of moisture in my grinders. Overall it’s not a big deal and it’s not a huge amount of grounds. Espresso from my Flair 58+ is still top tier. Currently using a Izpresso JX Pro grinder

The coffee grinds stick to the metal after shaking it, hence it does not come out as an even distribution. Also still has clumps after shaking and also sticks to bottom of the lid and The slopes of the bell It does help reduce coffee grinds spilling over the ground but does not Achieve the Desired distribution outcome, dont know why? this may be due to the paint/coating not sure, but I just can’t get it to distribute evenly, Maybe it’s because it’s a cheaper brand… I guess it’s the old saying “ Pay cheap, pay twice” And now I’m gonna need to buy another better quality one

I love this shaker but you really need to use a portafilter funnel. It fits a 51mm to 54mm portafilter but it's not easy to use in that configuration because the portafilter will be overfilled (depending on the amount of coffee you use, of course). I use 16 - 18 grams of beans and in a 51mm portafilter, the grounds are so fluffy the portafilter is overfilled and when you remove the shaker, the grounds go everywhere! Just place your portafilter funnel as you normally would and then empty the shaker over the funnel. It's amazing how fluffy and clump free the coffee grounds are. I then WDT just to evenly distribute the top, then (very important) a couple of light taps of the portafilter on your tamping mat, then remove the funnel and give it a good tamp and I have my "elixir fix" in no time. One thing...you'll produce a little static during your shake. If you remove the lid, you'll see quite a lot stuck to the inside of it. Before you open it, hold the sides of the shaker and keep your finger on the lid, then smack the shaker lightly (down) onto your knockbox or tamping mat or whatever. This will dislodge the grounds from the inside bottom of the lid (most of them) and you're all set to empty the contents into your portafilter. Nice invention and according to science, you'll get better extraction than just using WDT...or any other distribution device.

Completely eliminates the need to wet your coffee, which totally changes up the game, but it does take longer (albeit a negligible amount) compared to just stirring with the wdt. However, I’ve never had a bad shot with squirting with the shaker vs using wdt. I’ve had it for quite a while and the finish did come off a little, but still does the job and I have no intention of throwing it away yet. One thing I will have to say is the leftover coffee dust that sticks onto the shaker does trail no matter how hard I shake it off. With this mind I have to remember to brush it off after each use, which makes me wonder if I should just wdt instead. Either way, it’s a great tool and is an amazing alternative to stirring your grounds with wires.

This is a very nice shaker, one of the best I've seen. It's too bad that the one I received is used. It has dry fine coffee grounds on the inside of the shaker. Very disappointing and not even really sure what to leave as a rating.
