I own two of the 31 gallon, one of the 60 gallon, and my newest one is the 100 gallon. These have exceeded all expectations at a low price for such high-quality. The two 31 gallons have lasted just under two years, and still show no signs of wear and tear. The smaller ones and the 60 gallon i recently bought are used for my outside feral cat colony for storage of food and supplies. They keep bugs and raccoons out, and are waterproof. I love the slide lock that comes on them, and you can add your own lock if you want. These are very easy to use even for people with hand problems like arthritis. The 100 gallon comes with springs on the inside that maintain the lid to stay open at different heights and do not cause an issue as long as you don’t push down on the sides to close it, push down on the middle and everything will evenly go down when closing. These storage bins are very lightweight, but hold a ton of weight, and can be put together within 20 minutes. They are very versatile in what can be stored in them. My hundred gallon one is for personal use and I’m able to store items in there that I can’t store inside my small apartment due to size. Would 1000% recommend over other brands. I tried a storage bench from another seller prior to buying 100 gallon from East Oak, and was highly disappointed with what i received. One of the best things I like about the East Oak storage bins is the slide lock, and the structured bottom part that holds all the weight of everything inside. The one I received from the other seller was labeled as an outside bin, and had a cardboard bottom which concerned me. Making that poor decision, just delayed me getting the right bin.

I purchased the unit in august 2024, after a few years the unit started to fade to almost a very light gray. I had the warranty and without any to do, I sent pictures and in no time a new one arrived at my door. I'm going to keep the old one in the garage because it's not esthetically what it should be. But it is by far the best outdoor box I've ever owned over my 79 years. Solid and completely waterproof. They were a pleasure to deal with. I haven't had this kind of service in a long time. I say buy one and see for yourself, snap in installment so very easy and solid. Great value for the money. Very solid unit. Save your paperwork and you'll be fine. Great company.

OK, so here's the Deal - after a long 6-Day Research Study online for Large Volume (200 Gallons or more) Deck Boxes - (I always try to Check Personal Reviews before purchasing anything of Meaningful Value for the Best Price/Cost; Value for the Money spent; Quality; Size; Strength/Sturdiness; Ease and Integrity of Assembly; Looks; Warranty/Life Expectancy of Product; Worthiness of what it's used for; etc..) I looked for anything in the Range of 165 Gallons to 300 Gallons, as I'm not using this Box for Pillows/Cushions, but for my Chainsaws/Accessories/Tools/Oils/Rags; and anything else that I can fit into the box Realistically. I had purchased 2 (Two) Deck Boxes previously (165 Gallon) several months ago that I used for Firewood, and I Love them - but they aren't available right now. After my lengthy search (which drove my wife nuts), I finally Chose this East Oak 230 Gallon Beauty of a Deck Box! It came in 2 Days (was supposed to be Next Day) in a Nice New Undamaged and Pretty Box! Everything in the box was Intact with Good Readable Directions and each Part Marked and Easy to Assemble! My wife and I put the Box together in just over a half hour, making Sure we did everything Right - however, it can be done easily by one (1) person in an hour pretty easily! This Box is EPIC! Strong and Sturdy Structurally and Everything Fit Like a Glove! Well Reinforced All-Around, and the Lid Lifts and Closes Smoothly! Very Good/Strong Handles on the sides. And - this Box holds All my Chainsaws and Accessories and Tools Plus Much More! I'm not sending any Pictures or Video - Just Trust me on This! I might Over-Think it sometimes, but I want the Best value for my money!

I bought two of the 31 gallon boxes when on deal recently. They assembled quickly, in minutes. You do have to use some force to snap them together once you have the parts and slots lined up. I put mine on an outdoor rug and was able to assemble them without any issues. I did position each piece I was adding on the ground and pressed firmly from the top of the piece(s) I was connecting to the one on the ground after making sure I had the slots lined up. (The instructions shows you adding the 3rd piece from the top. Just flip it over and put the 3rd piece on the ground, like you snapped together the first 2 pieces. Add each piece - before you get to the top piece - the same way.) I plan to keep mine on a patio that has a sail shade over it. I don't think they would hold up long term if left in full sun, and I will likely put a towel over each one in the summer to help protect them from the SoCal sun. I will also not be keeping items in them year-round that can be damaged if they get wet; I wouldn't leave chair cushions in them over the winter. Even if they don't let in water from top or sides in the rain, the bottom isn't raised and I'd expect water to seep in at the bottom in the event of heavy rain. (I live on flat lands where water run off is slow during heavy rains.) These deckboxes are firm when sitting on them. They are a little too tall to use at an average patio dining table, if you want to use them as extra seating at a table. But they are a good height and strong enough for an average to larger person to sit on otherwise. I like them. They offer convenience and fit a need I have for pool items in one, and, in the other, to just throw stuff in during the summer (extra towels, chair cushions, books, whatever I might have outside that I do not want to put away each night but may not want to leave out and exposed to the elements over night).

This outdoor storage box is great. It was easy to assemble in a few minutes. Its lightweight and rasy to move Its been water resistant, has not leaked. I store outdoor cushions when weather gets bad and its worked perfectly. It doubles as a side table out on the deck.

Bought this to store an expandable hose in shielding it from the intense Arizona sun. Super simple to assemble and every piece has a precision fit. The unit is durable and nice looking. I drilled an 1-1/2” hole into the left side panel to pass the hose through it to the hose bib. The added hole did not jeopardize its robustness. Great value, the price was right for my intended use. Larger than I needed for my application but not too large that it looks out of place.

I am so pleased with this deck box! It was an amazing price during Prime sales, so I thought I would give it a try. I’m so glad I did. It was easy to put together. It absolutely works as advertised and is waterproof. We have had many storms and heavy rain since I purchased it, and the inside has not gotten wet at all. The sliding lock works fantastic, or you can add another small padlock if you would like. It is durable and I expect it to last a long time. I would highly recommend it to everyone!

I did put this together with a rubber mallet like suggested but added a touch of plumbing faucet grease so the tabs would slide in easier. The instructions are pretty good but you have to flip it around a lot. I noticed that when I thought it was all together, I flipped the box over on its top and one set of side tabs weren't locked in to the slots. A few more taps with the mallet fixed that. I am concerned about the bottom because it flexes quite a bit and sits about an 1/8" above the ground. The legs look like they're taller from the bottom. I bought 2 8x16x1" pavers to put in the bottom for weight because this will be used for delivery packages. The 16" should fit perfectly from front to back on the bottom. I think I'll be happy with this purchase.

Love this storage box -- I ordered it to tidy up our deck and store my outdoor gear, and stuff we only use occasionally but don't want to bother keeping all the way down in our storage area. I really like the grey colour and the way the lid opens slowly so it does not pinch my hands. This box feels way more solid and stays dryer inside than the wood bins I've used in the past. Pros: - The plastic material looks good, and is easy to handle with no sharp edges. - It is strong enough for a person to sit on it like a bench. - You can add a lock to keep your items safe when you are away, although we won't need that. - It took less than half an hour to put the whole thing together, and that was me going slowly to make sure I wasn't snapping it together the wrong way. - The instructions were super clear; easily the best I've used. They were big and clear for my old eyes to read, and the parts were clearly labeled. They were simple: only one type of screw, so you didn't have to compare lengths. - The pneumatic arms work really well to help you open and close the lid. - There's tons of space inside. Cons: - If you leave it empty, it could blow around a bit on your deck in a strong wind, but you're not going to leave it empty, because it's awesome and you got it so you could put stuff in it. I think this deck box is an awesome choice for anyone who wants to keep their deck neat and clean, and doesn't want to waste money on a storage solution that won't last. Highly recommended.

Muy buen material, no se ha hecho feo con la exposicion diaria del sol y la lluvia, muy facil armado y es de uso rudo su plastico.

Muy buena calidad y muy rápida para armar. Para sujetarla sin perforar no he encontrado un pegamento adecuado para cemento y plástico. El plástico de la caja es bastante resistente a la intemperie y el color esta muy bonito.
