Camu Camu is a nutritious super fruit found on the banks of the ian river in Peru and Brazil. Our extract is made by ionising the fruit pulp in a spray drier creating a super tangy water-soluble powder. Our Camu Camu powder is processed at low temperatures making it suitable for people on a raw diet.Camu Camu has 30 – 50 times more Vitamin C than an orange and is packed with amino acids, beta-carotene, calcium, potassium, B vitamins, and phosphorous as well as flavonoids and hydrolyzed tannins.While native ians have used the plant for many purposes, its significance as an agroforestry commercial crop was not realised until the 1990s.
