This is a great price for so many towels. I bought them to put in my survival bags. They take up a very small space and are very useful. They are thin and not much stronger than a good thick paper towel. I used one to try and when I got it unfolded it had a few tears. I guess I tore it while helping it unfold. It's not that big of a deal since I consider them to be throw-away and I have a lot more left. I have not used them for anything too much so I'm not sure if the color dye will come off because the towels are in assorted colors.

I bought these to go in emergency kits and to toss into the center console. I opened one when I got them just as a test. They are a little hard to open but once you get them hydrated they last a long as you want them two. Although I intended them to be single use, the one I opened lasted forever. I don't recommend washing them in a machine. For what I bought them for they are nice for the price. I don't do a lot of reviews for stuff that just does what it is supposed to do, but I got a very nice note from the vendor asking me to do a review. They didn't ask for a good review just a review. I would not give 5 stars unless I was happy with the product.

These were all dark gray. Took awhile soaking and some work to get it out of its pressed shape, Only had 48 in my box of 50. I've had these before and they were great, Wonder if these were rejects.

These little towels are great! I bought the 50 pack of both the 12x12 and the 12x24 as the price per unit was drastically less than what you could get with smaller quantities, plus it has given me the ability to store them all over. They hydrate up and become full sized very quickly but prior to that are very light weight and take up very little space. I've placed a few in my car, a few in a bug out bag, some in my camper, pretty much everywhere I might need to clean something up or wash something off and they've never disappointed.On another note, these little cuties are a huge hit with kids. For some reason anything that looks like money (a big coin) that can magically transform with water is an instant hit.

I carry a Lightload Towel in my back pocket to use in hot weather as a way to wipe away sweat, as I shave my head and it just tends to run off. (Things you don't realize when you have hair.) They work great - very compact and very absorbent. They dry quickly when aired out, and last a long time - rinse it in water, wring it out, let it dry. It is also convenient if you get caught in some rain and need to dry off quickly.They're small enough that you can easily keep one in your back pocket, or a purse, etc. Keeps some in the car for unexpected spills too. I don't have kids, but I think they'd be very useful for parents as well.

I have used these towels for a long time. So obviously I like them a lot. But my favorite is the pretty pastel colors they come in. So, imagine my horror, when I open the box and discover that my pastel colored towels were all BLACK!!! I would never use these. But more importantly, this box was not what was advertised on Amazon, this is not what I ordered.

I was looking for a new lightweight towel for some backpacking adventures when I came across these Lightload Towels.For the same price, or even cheaper, than 1 towel, I was able to get 50 of these towels. And I do take the weight of my pack into consideration. I could probably throw half of these in my pack and take up the same amount of weight and space. However just tossing a handful in is more than enough. They soak up a surprising amount of water.These things have a lot of uses and I keep a few everywhere. At just 50 cents a pop, it's a really good deal and you can keep them anywhere. Around the size of a poker chip, no reason not to.Great product at a great price!

Great little towels. I keep a few of these all around the house and in the car. The size is perfect to keep one in your pocket, especially with young children. Great to have for those unexpected accidents when you have nothing else with you. They are great for camping too. I use them regularly for doing dishes. They are a bit rough if you need to unfold and use them immediately dry, but once they are wet, they are very soft. Good quality product, definitely worth the money. They hold up fine in the washing machine too. This is not a use once and throw away product.

Great little 'bit of kit' and great value too. Initially bought these for camping trips and now use them almost everywhere! Plenty of uses when camping; wash clothes, dish clothes, towels, cooling rags, all sorts. Kids now take a few of them on every Scout camp, they're really light and fit into small spaces in rucksacks. If the clothes get really dirty on their camps (you know what kids are like) they get used for lighting campfires, really help to get a fire going and cheap enough not to worry about. The rest get washed and reused plenty of times, we sometimes vacuum pack them down to almost the original size. Now keep them in the car, first aid kits, work bags, etc. Hoping to get a few of the 'beach towel' size next ready for the kids DofE expeditions!

These are ideal as flannels for holiday use and for spill emergencies. We usually keep a few in the car. They hardly take any weight or space so keep a few in a bag or backpack etc. My wife used to throw away face flannels at the end of the holiday so as not to carry damp cloths in the hold luggage, but now we each use a couple of these whilst abroad - they are strong and soft to wash with, then can be disposed of when required. The 50 pack is really good value, working out at a few pence each.

These are great with multitude of uses. Weigh and take up next to no space. Worth buying in bulk.
