The box is as expected.Because it is small, it is not meant to be thick. So it is thin.It functions as it should.Is it water sealed? I wouldn't expect it, so I didn't test it.Is it durable? I'm not going to find out, it is too thin and can probably break easy.Is there value? Sure, if you use it for light duty and simple transportation. But if you need something to ensure safety, stick to the real Pelican.

Great Case for High-Value Electronics
The case is slightly on the softer side of plastics, but it’s well-designed with good foam packing and pick-pull foam. It’s a fantastic hard case for protecting high-value electronics. I'm using it to store a PVS-14, and it fits perfectly, providing excellent protection. Highly recommend!
