Amazing! Better than I expected.
This is an amazing little stove, light and heater. It is just right for when I want a fire but not a full wood stove fire. Thatโs how we heat our farmhouse. I was surprised by the amount of heat generated. Itโs just enough to knock off the chill. A full tank of paraffin oil burning at a medium flame lasted 3 hours and boiled a full kettle. Keep in mindโ only use a pot or kettle that you would put on an open flame. This gets hot enough it will crack ceramic pots even on a low setting. I waited a year before purchasing this stove. It was worth the wait. Odorless. Sturdy construction. No leakage though the tank is not sealed. Functional and compact.

Lovely little fireplace.
Love that little fireplace! I already had a small cast iron tea pot and tried it out to see how long it will take to boil water on a low setting, or IF it can boil water. Does it ever, and fast at that. Needless to say, never leave anything flame unattended. The built is solid like cast iron which it might well be. When you first fill the tank, which holds about 200ml, leave it sitting for at least 15 minutes to give the wick time to soak up the oil. Then you'll have no problems lighting it and keeping it lit. It looks lovely with the dancing flames which instill calmness and even put out a little warmth. I keep it on our enclosed porch and have not noticed any smells.

Awesome, cute, very useful, but mine has a couple of issues.
Great delivery time (overnight), the quality of the materials is excellent, but the precision is a bit off with mine. First, the two side latches on the top tray are low enough that either of them interfere with opening the front door more than 90 degrees. Not a huge problem, but it's a design flaw. The top section of the unit is hinged so that you can unclasp it from the back side, and bend it forward to access the wick and light it. However, when I snap it back into position, there is at least 1/8" of play in the latch hole, so that the top section does not close tightly. This causes the top section to lean forward, and when you look at the stove sideways, it's titled. It's supposed to be perfectly vertical, and I find it annoying. There is no way to fix this, so I consider it a defect. All latches: two for the top tray, and one to open the door, are almost too tight to release. On a perfectly flat surface, there is a some wobble, as the 4 legs of the unit are not perfectly flat. It is adorable, it looks cool as heck, and can add some heat to a small room. I can live with the other issues, but that gap that causes the top section to lean is annoying. I'd like to exchange it, but now it's got fuel in it so I'd have to clean it all out, go through the time-consuming exchange process, and there's no guarantee a replacement's going to be any better. I'm a guitar player, and it's like buying a new Fender Stratocaster and realizing later that the pickguard was installed crooked. Knowing these things ahead of time, would I have still bought it? Tough call, but probably not. As cool as it is, I hate defects. If anyone who reads my review is about to post one of your own, please comment on whether your stove has the gap issue that causes the top to lean toward the oil filling side. Thank you!

Perfect Size, Beautiful Ambience, and Great Heat!
This lantern is just the right size โ not too big and not too small. It heats up quickly and adds a beautiful, warm ambience to any room. Be sure to let the wick soak for about 10 minutes before the first use; after that, it lights easily and performs flawlessly. Itโs very well built, durable, and sturdy without being too heavy. It sits firmly on flat surfaces, though of course, youโll want to be cautious not to knock it over. I use mine in the living room with a window slightly open for ventilation, and it gives off excellent heat and a cozy glow. The price is great, and my only small complaint is that finding a funnel to fit the filler hole was a bit tricky. Other than that, Iโd absolutely recommend it โ it even makes a great gift!

Miniature comfort and utility!
This is such an unnecessary purchase that you will Love! Itโs adorable, heavy and well built, itโs easy to clean, easy to fill, burns for hours on a fill, and will actually heat a pot on top of the included grill. For someone who loves a campfire but who lives in the frozen North, this is a perfect substitute for sitting by the fire on frozen nights. It also has a carry handle that stays cool.

Darkwing Duck is a Great Show
Don't skip this Review! I didn't care for this at first, but now I really do. The trick... use alcohol instead of kerosine. It fixes the smoking issues, still pumps out an amazing amount of heat and it doesn't leak. The alcohol will also burn smoother and require less of a wick, but you will have to refill more often. I get around 3 hours of burn from a full tank of 90% isopropyl alcohol and it's cheaper than kerosine if you are out and about. I still am able to boil water but I typically use this in my garage while I'm doing work in the winter.

Camping burner as well as a light
A problem with a glass it cracked should be using with a very good paraffin because it will smoke up a lot with any oil base don't use this indoors not quite as big as I thought. but it did the job can't really complain

Nostalgia is cool
This thing is really cool. Haven't used it yet, as it's just arrived. I can see myself using this while camping, I'll use my mess kit, bento box to cook small snacks and meals for myself, enjoy the ambiance of the fire, roast a few marshmallows, why not. It's easy to open latches, secures well,,like the brass details, came with a wick already in the stove and an extra wick. Nice touch, I appreciate that.
