I tried this on 3 tubes of product: 1) With a paper based tube, it bunched up the outer layer of paper (label) and gut stuck, repeatedly; 2) With a plastic tube over 1 year old, it couldn't overcome the "park at the rear" and slipped; 3) with a new plastic tube, it worked but had difficulty driving it forward. I had to push it from the end. All in all, it has issues advancing product. In the end, it is filled with hardened caulk and I feel like a replacement is due.

Works great! It’s perfect for getting into tight spaces. I wouldn’t recommend it for heavy duty applications, but I love it for the intended use.

I like this item. I think this model s a little light weight being all plastic which is why i tasted it a 4 not 5. Others of this type are stronger material so they are probably better for longer life but life span. That aside, the compact design is great. I wanted to try this because it's so much shorter than the traditional design. That is very helpful in many situations. If you really need sort you can start with a udder tube and cut the extended tube off the back to make it shorter.

The easy Caulk gun ever. I'm a chick and this caulk gun was easy to use, handle. Its light weight and compact great for smaller hands like me. Its a great value. Its a must have for any tool box.

I decided to give this "new-fangled" caulking gun a try since it was advertised as a "No Drip Caulk Gun". While it lays-down a nice, smooth bead and is very comfortable to use, it is far from "No-drip". I generally use a good-quality acrylic latex caulk. I laid down a bead, released the trigger, wiped off the end of the tube and then put down the gun. The photo below is one minute after laying down the gun. "No-drip" indeed... At least with a standard gun, you can pop the friction lever loose to somewhat release the pressure. I also had a hard time pulling the empty tube back out of the gun. It's internal knife slices the side of the tube as it goes and it takes a bit of fighting with it to hold the release lever down while trying to yank the empty tube out past the "sandpaper" gripper and knife. Innovative design, but it fails the usability test. I ended up returning it as I will not use this device.

This is hands down the best caulk-related purchase I've ever made. The design is leaps and bounds better than those normal orange caulking guns. My use is entirely in custom reptile enclosures and the compact design allows me to reach areas that were otherwise very challenging to seal. Best of all, it doesn't drip really at all so I'm not wasting aquarium silicone. I cannot recommend this product highly enough!!
