Augustinus Bader The Serum is a luxury facial serum that uses TCF8 - stated as a proprietary blend of amino acids, high-grade vitamins, and synthesized molecules. It encourages cell turnover and collagen production, hydrates, reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, evens out skin tone, reduces hyperpigmentation, improves texture, soothes, reduces inflammation, clears skin, and improves elasticity and firmness. In short, everything my 51 year-old skin desperately needs.The set comes beautifully packaged and includes the base, the nomad, and the refill. The base is heavy and gorgeous. It’s made of glass and it houses the nomad/refill combo. The nomad is a gold metal tube that holds the refill. It has a cap on it and can be removed from the base to make it easy to travel with. The serum/refill is in a plastic pump-style bottle that contains one ounce of serum. It expires 9 months after opening. It’s milky and thin and quickly absorbs into my skin. Thankfully, it’s unscented as I tend to get migraines with added fragrance. I apply it at night after cleansing and toning and add a night cream on top for moisture.Their results were seen after 12 weeks so I’d be lying if I said I could see them now so soon after receiving the serum. But the results are real and the TCF8 blend looks promising. I am confident that with consistent, regular use I will see younger-looking, brighter, clearer, and plumper skin.This is a high-end skincare line and the price reflects that. But if money is no object and you are looking for a renowned, trusted brand with innovative and proven products, this one is for you.

This is an unscented luxury gel serum that absorbs very quickly and leaves your skin buttery soft with no residue. Let's start with the obvious: this product is very expensive. Like insanely expensive compared to even some very high-end luxury brands that you get double the amount of product for. Here are my thoughts and observations after using this for one day (which is too soon to have real measurable results but I will update):1) Packaging is extremely lux and thoughtful. It felt like I was opening an exclusive invitation to a secret event.2) The bottle is easily refillable via switching out the metal vial that holds the capsule of product.3) It pumps easily into a gel like serum consistency and absorbs quickly.4) It is truly unscented and my skin had no reaction or redness.5) It was very nice to go to bed with what felt like very hydrated skin sans the sticky that sometimes causes my face to stick to the pillow.I am a skincare lover and had never heard of this brand. Upon further review, it seems that this line has very positive reviews and is dermatologist approved. In the morning, my skin was buttery soft and I had the soft glow that didn't look greasy but just really hydrated skin. My husband said "you look great!" as I emerged to head to the gym. I don't wash my face until I return from the gym and shower as part of my morning skincare routine as an FYI so I still had the product on my face. At the gym, not one but TWO women commented on my skin (this has never happened before BTW). Now I am mildly panicked that I might have to take a second job to pay for more of this magical face cream, but thrilled with the results after just one day. The product indicates that a bottle should last 12 weeks when used 2 pumps in the am and 2 pumps in the pm. In total, the inner vial with the product is 1 fl oz. which isn't a lot. It also states that while individual results may vary, most see significant effects around 4-6 weeks of consistent use. As great as this is so far, and how luxury the packaging is, I cannot give it 5 stars because at $400/oz. it is out of reach for a lot of people. Who is this good for? Yourself, a skincare lover that has it all, a gift for a very special event, or for loved one. This was such a special treat, and I will savor this and update as time goes on.

Lovely serum. Creamy and absorbs well. No scent. I'm layering it over my retinol serum at night to give my skin some extra nourishment and keep the dryness away. Face feels velvety soft and light. If you get the full set, it comes with the Nomad (the tall gold serum bottle) and the base (the cobalt blue container). The base is simply a holder; the serum functions completely independent of the base so it's an aesthetics thing, but it's very pretty. I was surprised at how sturdy the base is since it looks rounded underneath, but it's totally stable. A nice addition to my routine, as it layers beautifully.

This absorbs into the skin well and makes my skin feel nice. I would not say this is unscented though, it actually has a little bit of a bad smell to it. The tube within tube within tube packaging seems pretty unnecessary.

I’ve tried the AB moisturizer in the past & loved it. When I saw this serum I had to try it! The texture is light & doesn’t feel heavy or greasy on the skin. The component is refillable which I love- sustainability is always fabulous. My skin loves this serum! It soaks in almost immediately leaving my skin feeling smooth, hydrated & healthy. Looking forward to seeing long term results. Highly recommend if you’re looking for luxe skin care that works!

Augustinus Bader is my favorite skin brand and it's one of the luxury brands out there when it comes to skin products but I can tell you that it's definitely worth it and it can be a great investment for your skin. I ordered the full set which arrived in a very chic box and it includes one serum and one refill. The serum has a very chic packaging and the serum is so light weighted and gentle on the skin. You can easily apply it on the skin and it makes your skin feel so soft and hydrated and over time you can see the improvement on the fine lines.
