Frustrating and limited
Not a fan of this one. These issues are common in all these books but they seem more frequent in this one. There are several games where you only get to try once and then have to select the green button to do it again. You have to sit through the instructions fully. For example there is a game where you select the upper case letter and then the matching lower case. You get to do this just once and then have to sit through the instructions all over again. The selection itself doesn’t take long so I’m not sure why it just doesn’t go back to asking you to select another upper case letter. This is just one example, several other games do this. The other frustrating thing is the game will just cut you off and make you start over if you miss what it is asking you. This in itself is fine but some of the games are fickle and you need to select a very small zone to get a positive response. So if your child is selecting around this zone trying to click the spot then it’ll just make you start over after a few misses. Kid gets confused because now they think they’ve selected incorrectly.
