Emollient Cream 500g - Moisturizing for Dry Skin, Eczema Relief, Whole Body, Adult Use, 17.6 Ounce

i have been using Cetraban for years. I first stumbled upon it because my daughterdaughter has suffered with dermatitis/eczema most of the lotions and creams n the shelves were doing nothing to help her in between flare ups. Actually my hubby also jus suffers from dry skin . Its as if his skin just swallows up the lotions, leaving no trace, that he'd ever used any. I was living in England at the time & my colleague had this on her desk. I had used some day after washing my hands (which were very dry) I noticed that my hands felt truly moisturized and it lasted. We got talking, she suggested I should buy it as she also really loves it. The only hitch was that you could only purchase it over the counter at a pharmacy. Now I live in the US. you can't purchase cetraban so readily here. we have tried all the major creams and lotions on the market for soothing dry skin & dermatitis, we have not found success with any them,, really aside from aquafor. but aquafor can be really thick and/or more vaseline based. Not necessarily ideal to use on the face. Some things that I love about Cetraban is that you can use it as an emolient, so fo my daughter, she can't use just any facial wash and we go through our share of body washes as well for that reason. I like that you can turn it into an emolient then turn around and use it as a moisturizer. It works really well on normal to extremely dry skin. it lasts for quite some time. you don't need to use loads. it has a locking mechanism to stop excess and also so you don't push on the pump by accident. We use this al around on everyone in my family. I introduced to my sister, who loves in France (here I would say they have pretty good creams and lotions in their pharmacy as well) but she also quite liked Cetraban. It's not something you can get there easily either. The consistency of the cream is not so thick you feel like you're wearing a mask. the cons- its hard to come by here in the US. it's on the expensive side (but worth it). The container it comes in is bulky and has a heavy base, so it's not a cream you can travel with on a plane or if weight is a factor in your travel.

This is a really nice lotion. I love that it's unscented. It's like something you'd find in a hospital. It goes on smooth and absorbs quickly. It feels like your skin has a good barrier after applying. I can use it on my whole body, including my face which is super sensitive. I highly recommend, and I will be repurchasing.

Deserves 10 stars! So many creams tour amazing results but deliver none! Cetraben is different. This is the only cream I can use on my whole body, especially on my face and it does everything it says it does. I have very inflamed roseacea and I can already see a difference on my red bumpy area of my face. My arms are moist for the first time in 20 years. This stuff is amazing and I will never be without it.

I bought three of these a my dermatologist recommend using this product. I can buy it from her in Canada for 2.5 times as much in cost or buy 3 for a little bit more than I'd pay at her office. Obviously I choose to go online. The one thing I notice is this formula the Europe and The U.S.A. has is a waxier formula with a weird waxy smell. The label is also different. The one I got from my dr. made my skin feel softer and my skin absorbed the formula better. It comes down to how much you want to pay and if you get hit with duties. (which I did also) It's a good product but I know that the Canadian formula is better for me. It's a shame I can't find it in a bigger size then 125ml at the canadian pharmacies (I checked the big 3 here, with no luck) without going to the dr's office.

I learned of this moisturizer on youtube from Dr. Vanita Rattan a dermatologist specializing in skin issues for people of color. As I am aging I noticed my skin is tight, dry and feels unhealthy. However because I've always had areas of oiliness the last thing I thought to do is put a thick cream on my face until I listened to Dr. Rattan. Not only has this improved my facial skin but I also use in on my forearms that get all the sun from driving and just regular exposure, and I've noticed an improvement in the elasticity of my skin in just a couple of weeks. Plus this is affordable! Following a simple routine morning and evening including this moisturizer in the evening has created a noticeable difference. *NOTE* I have found I cannot use this in the morning before work or before going out because it doesn't really have time to soak in well before I have to leave, so my makeup does not apply as well as it does with my lighter moisturizer. This does not deter me from using it because the benefits it gives me in the evening is excellent. Highly recommend, however as someone in the medical field I agree that everyone should always consult a medical professional before trying anything.

My son had had eczema since he was like 1 month old, I tried everything everybody told me to use on babies, ended up getting prescription meds from his Dr. But I did not want to use daily medication on is skin, I found this cream recommended by a Dermatologist on Youtube, and I am SOOOOO HAPPY I found it, my son eczema is under control, he gets few spots here and there, It is thick yet dries pretty quick, non-sticky, no fragrance, non-greasy, we are all using it!! I use for my face, hands and feet, main improvement in my heels (no more cracked skin) I am ordering more bottles just to have in store just in case they decide to change the formula. I wish I found this cream before i spent $$$$ on other products for my son eczema.

By far the best cream I’ve tried for barrier repair! I wish I had found this years ago, it deeply hydrates my skin overnight. I use it during the day too when I’m not leaving the house. My skin is happy again.

Recommended to me by doctor. It's great for dermatitis on my hand. I use it every time I wash my hands. My hand has cleared up, itchiness gone and wounds from excessive itching healed. The cream easily absorbs and leaves no greasiness like the Cetraben ointment does. The bottle is very big so value for money. It has a pump action allowing the right amount to be dispensed. This cream has been successful in hydrating my skin too. This product will definitely last long as you don't need to use too much of it.

Great product

This cream was recommended by a friend’s dermatologist. I have over sensitive, dry, itchy skin in the winter and this thick rich cream settles it down. I apply it after my shower just before I go to bed...keeps me comfortable for 24 hours. Works just as well and feels the same as the Canadian product I’ve used and that just had a massive price hike. I like to shop Canadian but not for twice the price.

I've been battling extreme dry and chappy face, which kept peeling and stinging for a year,my skin was literally addicted to moisturize.I was using CeraVe moisturizing cream and lotion,it worked for a short period to soothe it but had to keep reapplying because it will dry off and the cycle continuous.I watch Dr Vinita on YouTube and she recommended Cetraben,I tried and I'm never ever going back. It's just everything my skin needs,I only have to apply once and I'm good to go.My skin is also becoming uniforms as I was suffering discoloration due to peeling. Good thing is,it doesn't cause any break out. I'm stucked.
