TERRIBLE product, doesn’t work. I missed the window to return this item and I am really unhappy with its performance.

The string is very loose and comes out really long and hits my leg and It cuts me. I can see why so many are sold at an inexpensive price.

The product is correct and works as expected but the line itself is extremely weak. My yard barely qualifies as a postage stamp (maybe 100 feet total of required trimming space) and I needed 3 entire spools to finish the job. The cost savings look great upfront but don't actually work out since you end up using so much more line per job.

When my new B&D string trimmer ran out of line I was prepared to buy a package of line and wind the spool myself. Looked on Amazon and to my delight found I could buy replacement spools for the same price. The new spools came in a 8 pack with a replacement spring and cover. The new spools are identical in form and function. I have enough to last several seasons and will never have to hassle with winding the spools myself.

They do not work in black and decker trimmer. They lack the cut up for the spring and will not fit your unit. They also are taller to prevent fitting.This is not to purchase. I bought last summer and just opened to find out it does not work when I finally opened the box.The phot show that this item is flat on top instead of having the recessed area for the spring.I’m out the cost since I didn’t open and try upon arrival and trusted the description.Very disappointed that I need to stop work and go purchase new ones in a local store.

when using the new spool the line would catch on a stubborn weed and the spool would come out of the weed eater and the whole line would unravel. I then spend about 20 minutes untangling it and rewinding.

I bought these for my husbands black and decker grass trimmer and he just used the product yesterday. He did all of the landscaping yesterday and we have a lot and had no problems with the feeder on this. He said it worked great. his old trimmer we had to keep adjusting the line. He liked the product and overall was a great price to buying a single in our area . He would buy this again. It was a thick line so it wasn't something that will break easy.
