Really beautiful, nice theme
More expensive than I should have, but I had a music box collection as a kid, and this one is perfect. I got it for my partner, and it was a HUGE gamble. I thought he would either love it or hate it. I think he is happy. Right now I have it, and if he doesn’t want it, I will definitely have NO PROBLEM AT ALL repurposing it. Really nice find.

It's perfect
This is absolutely amazing. I bought this as a gift for my daughter, and I'm so pleased. The pictures don't do it justice. It's very detailed, works well. The music is lovely, definitely worth the price. It is such a lovely music box.

Beautiful to the touch. Very detailed and well made. The music is perfect, reminds me of my mother's music boxes.

Its nice. Lid seems to be not centered correctly. Paint seems to be cheaply painted on. Not worth the price.

One of My Own SFMBC Music Boxes!
In my younger days, I would walk past the brick and mortar San Francisco Music Box Company Stores and linger - wishing for one to call my own. Gradually I stopped seeing them places and when I saw this one pop up on Amazon I seized my chance. The attention to detail and precision of the pieces is on point. Even the dragons expression is amazing. He floats in a wee cloud when you open the lid. The lid and base meet seamlessly. The jewels around the lip of the base are firmly attached. The scales on the base feet are sort of glowy. The blue is a deep cerulean blue and reminds me of moon rise. The detail inside the lid of the castle is just as consistent as the base with the attention to detail. Now I regret waiting so long to get my own SFMBC music box. I'm would not hesitate to give this to a fantasy loving reader for a stocking stuffer or gift. Now I want to go see if they have one with a moose and a fox and my critter collection would be off to a solid start! 100 out of 10 from me!!!!

Beautiful little trinket box
I ordered this as a gift for my daughter-in-law. It was a thrill to see her face as she took it out of the box. This is not a cheap music box/trinket box. It's well made and the detail is outstanding. She even loved the little dragon that lives inside the box!
