We originally bought a beach waver from a different well known brand. It did not work at all and we returned it. I did more researching and found this one. I read all the reviews and decided to try it out. It arrived this morning and by the afternoon, I did our daughter’s hair and she tried it on mine. This is 100% worth it and I am glad I bought it! I should have read instructions first, but we were too excited. I kept it on 280 degrees or lower because anything higher caused my daughter’s hair to smoke. We tried different times and found that 10 seconds was the perfect time. She has fine, long hair and I have fine, short hair. My daughter is 11 years old and did my hair, so it is not perfect. But it has been 2 hours later with outdoor temps in the 100s and our hair stayed. I am extremely impressed! Despite the hot temperatures of the devise itself, we never burned our hands. There was no need for a glove like other brands have and suggest. I am giving this product a 10/10. This is a must have product!EDIT…I did my own hair this morning and love it even more! I kept the setting at 280 degrees for 10 seconds. I included it with the pictures (last picture). My daughter woke up this morning and her hair was almost as beautiful as it was when we did it the day before. We just had to touch up her curtain bangs. We have received many compliments on our hair. I will be using this product daily.

LOVE! I’ve been doing hair for 10 years and this thing is great. My hair is extremely long and fine, stick straight (1A/B but I have a lot of it (down to my butt) and curling/styling were becoming too much of a chore, can’t keep volume bc it’s heavy and I was getting bored. I did my entire head in less than 10 minutes…the results? Obsessed. Highly recommend!For those who have been smelling burning..your settings are probably set way too high! ALWAYS start with the lowest settings and test what your hair can handle and go up from there. Use heat protection! Heat protection is so so important! And don’t use it on freshly washed hair.When I get towards my ends I do a brief little squeeze and don’t hold it closed for entire time (im using lowest heat setting and 4 seconds) as to prevent damage as well.Dont brush it! Put some some serum or oil on your hands and just run your fingers through it gently.

Fabulous results; easy to use; long lasting style. So glad I chose the smaller one; it's very lightweight and easy to use, and the waves it creates are just the right size and shape for me. I am small with very thin fine hair. It takes me about 15 to 20 minutes to do all of my hair, and it lasts for days until it gets wet. *Full disclosure*This was done on dirty hair and it was my first time doing it.I went in not having any expectations and even though it used this on dirty hair and in a very messy way,it turned out really good. Gave me some nice beachy waves for the first time ever trying something like this. I would highly suggest to start with 300 degrees. Not hotter than this because it can fry your hair. Hence the reason why many reviews say this burnt their hair.Gauge the temperature and see if your hair can withstand a higher temperature or if you should reduce it… with good practice this can look flawless but for now I am having fun creating something different on my hair. This is a perfect hairstyle for summer ! Buy it !

Heats up super fast with a count down so you know when it’s ready and creates beautiful full waves. I use it to fix a few spots on days when I let my hair go wavy but I think it would work well on days when I just need a quick blow dry, which always leaves my hair more straitish. Just stagger it as you use it or it ends up being too uniform. Definitely recommend.

I was so nervous to try one of these crimping tools as I am not great at using hair tools at all and crimpers are large and cumbersome to use. I took a chance and bought this one and I’m so happy I did. This is the best hair tool I’ve ever used! I had a ton of fine hair that is extremely hard to style and does not like to hold style at all. I only need the lowest heat setting on this tool, and one pass through gives waves that lasts all day. If you’re thinking about buying this go for it, it’s fantastic!

I have very fine, thin hair and my hair will not hold a curl, no matter what curling iron I've tried. This actually makes my hair wavy and it holds all day! I love it. I did take a star away because my hair smells extremely burnt every time I use it (which is now over 20 times). I've tried using heat protectant, but it still smells burnt.

BUY THIS! I've had this saved in a wish list for months and finally bought it and I am so happy with it! Heats up immediately, extremely easy to use, crimped my short hair in just a few seconds, and feels way safer to use without burning myself compared to other wavers that have exposed heat plates. I'm super inept when it comes to styling my hair, and I did my hair in like 10 minutes or less! Highly recommend!
