Comfortable chair and the price is great! Great material on the chair, feels comfortable and easy to clean. Love the foot stool. It does need assembly. But that is part of the savings!

Received the chair after a bit of a delivery issue, but once it did arrive the chair was complete, and assembled in less than 30 minutes. Two sets of hands make it easier, as does a power screwdriver. Using the included Allen wrench would not have been an enjoyable experience. One issue, mentioned in other comments as well, were the screws and brackets for the ottoman not lining up correctly. Worked through that, and the chair is pretty much as advertised.

This chair came promptly and was in good shape. Directions were easy and it wasn't all that difficult. The include hex wrench was typical and gets the job done but I dislike them. My own makes it a more smiley job. When done it is sturdy, pretty and my wife and I took turns falling asleep in it first day. Son might buy one, we will probably buy another.

I looked around for a chair for a very long time. I'm 5'9" and needed a chair with a high enough back to support my head. There aren't many of these around, so when I found this chair, with it's low armrests, narrow width, and high back, I thought it was too good to be true. Did I mention price? I'm an adult grad student so therefore broke and can't afford a $1400 chair for me to do all my research in. After a long day at work, I needed a comfortable chair to do schoolwork in. Yes, it is comfortable. I can cross my legs in it and my head easily rests on the chair back.I give it 3 stars because of it's functionality. When getting it to recline, it makes a VERY loud popping noise, and the first several times I thought I was going to break it. But nope, not broken, just can't adjust the seatback when the dogs are inside because it is a very scary noise & it shakes the floor. I put it together correctly per the instructions and even triple-checked to make sure nothing was missing. Even as I type this review I am sitting in the chair and just reclined it.. which caused an "are you okay?" from upstairs. "Yes, it's just the chair."

Once you recline to the first setting it continues to recline further!! Then will not come back to the upright position. Period!

There is a general problem with alignment of the screws with the corresponding holes. In the assembly of the ottoman, the holes on the L-shape plates are totally off position so that I have to use longer screws to catch the holes.Not to mention that I had missing parts which took the warehouse 17 days to replace.I revised the rating to 4 stars based on good communications with the service department and the fact that the recliner is pretty comfortable to sit on.
