I wanted a stuff jacket for the winter when traveling. This one does the job!The jacket is well made. All of the hems and seams are well sewn. The elastic around the wrists is snug enough, but not tight. The elastic around the waist is snug, but not tight. The hood fits over my head, but isn't tight. The zippers aren't top quality, but they feel like they are going to last the life of the jacket. There are giant internal non-zipped pockets for storage.The jacket is very comfortable to wear and feels like it will be satisfactory for chilly to mildly cold weather.The stuff bag is nice because it's big enough to stuff the jacket without having to cram the jacket in. It's made large enough to hold it comfortably.Do make sure to check against the size guide as the sizing is non-traditional. If I'd paid attention, I would have ordered one size smaller. But I can just layer if I want to.I like the jacket and recommend it!

Gotta love the tried and true Coofandy. I've gotten quite a few products from them and they're always solid. This puffer jacket follows the same Coofandy standard. It's solid, and the quality feels good. The fit is true to size and it looks nice and sporty. The pockets have zippers, and the puff of the jacket looks nice but it's not too overblown like some puffers, more lowkey and laid back. It is a great jacket, 5/5

According to the manufacturer, the COOFANDY Mens Packable Puffer Jacket offers lightweight protection from wind and cold. Since I received this item during a July summer heat wave, I cannot fully test out this claim. The manufacturer claims, in the Amazon listing, that this jacket has a drawstring hood. The model that I am testing does have a hood but no drawstring to secure the hood. I am subtracting 1 star because of the “no drawstring”. The cuffs do have some elastic. I have tried this jacket on several times. The zipper has not snagged at all. One feature that I really like are the large inside pockets on each side. I can fit an entire 42 oz. bottle of sparkling water in one of these pockets. I don’t recommend doing that; I doubt that the stitching could handle the weight. These pockets would be great for keeping a beanie and/or a spare pair of gloves or other lightweight items. There is no chest pocket. A pack bag is included. The bag does have a drawstring.As far as sizing, trust the sizing chart on the Amazon website. I usually wear a Medium in coats. The Amazon fitting chart indicated that I should order a Small. I didn’t want a coat that was too small, so I ordered Medium anyway. The coat is a bit big on me. I probably could have fit the Small. Of course, the larger coat allows for me to add more layers underneath so I am okay with that.I can envision many uses for the COOFANDY Mens Packable Puffer Jacket. I see myself wearing this coat while walking the dog on a cool fall morning. It would be great for après ski (or even to ski in). This "puffer" jacket doesn't puff. See the photo of the sleeve, taken 24 hours after opening -- the jacket comes compressed in an airtight plastic bag. I wore it for an hour or so, then let it sit over the back of a chair overnight. This jacket might be nice for a cool fall day with temps in the 60's, but a winter coat it is not. I'll try throwing it in the dryer for a few minutes and submit an edit if it puffs up.

The fleece lining makes this jacket really warm and comfortable, although the fleece does not extend into the sleeves. They are lined, but it's more like a layer of polyester. The outer part is definitely windproof, but is not going to be totally waterproof in drenching rain. There are some good weather proofing additions like the velcro at the sleeve and the outer placket on the front held in place by snaps at the top and bottom.This is cut slim and did not match the size chart in the description. The sleeves ran slightly short, and the chest was narrow. Mae sure you size up.

I’ll admit that I had pretty low expectations for this jacket. It turns out that I actually really like it. It’s stylish, comfortable, incredibly lightweight and I think it looks really good on me.I ordered a XXL and it’s a perfect fit for me. I’m 6’-1” and 245 pounds. I have pretty broad shoulders and find a lot of jackets fit me overall but are often very tight in the shoulders and across the back. This one is a perfect and comfortable fit.As advertised, it comes with a small pack that you can roll the jacket up and slip it in. It’s very lightweight and this makes it very easy for traveling or attaching to a suitcase or backpack. The jacket was definitely much thinner than I expected. I kind of like that though. I don’t have any lightweight jackets, so this actually turned out to be a nice surprise for me.It has two large pockets on the sides at the bottom to put your hands in. My biggest complaint about this jacket is that it does not have a breast pocket either on the outside or on the inside for putting your cell phone in. It does have two really weird, odd shaped and ridiculously large pockets on each side on the inside lining of the jacket. I’m not sure what they’re supposed to be for, they are large, incredibly deep and remind me of game pouches on a hunting jacket. I guess if I decide to hunt rabbit or something in this jacket, I’m all set.Aside from being a little disappointed in the pockets, this is a really great jacket. I tend to be pretty thrifty so I won’t speak to the price and whether I think it’s worth it or a good value. I generally only buy things when they are a really good bargain. Regardless, it’s a great looking jacket and super comfortable. I’d never say I’m looking forward to cooler weather however, when it does arrive, I’ll be happy for the opportunity to wear this jacket.
