27" Computer Monitor 4K UHD IPS HDR Built-in Speakers, 27E1N1800A

Bought three of these as I wanted to upgrade from 1080p to 4K at long last but have a smaller setup so it was difficult to find monitors that weren't too large in inches but still had 4K resolution. Had them a few months now and they have worked out great. No image issues, mounted easily, on-board settings easy to navigate and haven't need adjusting at all since I first set them up.

Great value for a great monitor. Picture is terrific 4K, w good color and contrast. The BEST? Nope. But at this price, this pretty great screen becomes a bargain. Plus I can use my VESA arm. Also, I got mine “like new” and got a nice discount on what appeared to be a brand new monitor. No one ever bought a computer monitor for the speakers, but these are essentially nonexistent, so much so I had to turn the volume up all the way and then put my ear right up to the screen to even find them (on the bottom edge btw, presumably intended to bounce sound off the desk). My iPhone speakers sound better. Again, not a big deal since no monitor speakers are good, but some can at least add some fill to your setup. Not these.

Bought this to replace 1 of 3 monitors I have on my desk. Monitor is good and matches the Philips i have. The only problem is Philips put the on/off switch on the back of the monitor. It is 6" up from the bottom and 4" in from the right side. this is a ridiculous location. Plus the on/off is also a 4 way toggle for other functions, like volume, picture and other things. Ok I would have to memorize the other functions or paste a picture on my desk. These monitors I have are side by side so the right hand side access is not available. Little bit awkward and confusing.

I bought this to replace an earlier, non-HDR version that I dropped. I'd just upgraded my video card anyway. I can't emphasize enough the quality of this monitor at the price point. It may not have the ultra-crisp look of monitors costing two or three times this (or more) but it certainly does the job(s) I want from it at this price point. Gaming: Elder Scrolls Online doesn't necessarily challenge the combination of RX760XT and this monitor, but the game looks great with the auto-HDR function. Photo Editing, the more important aspect for me, has taken on a new "flavor". Between upgrading from a RTX3060 to RX7600 XT and this monirot, images in Lightroom have a depth on this monitor that makes me want to try out some "crazy" editing functions that didn't look very satisfying on my old monitor.

Very poor quality video. Definitely didn’t look 4K and settings are very minimal

The screen and the price are fine but the speakers are awful. If this monitor had no speakers it would be much better. My Mac mini has better fidelity and that's not saying muc.

Excelente imagen con resolución 4K

Llego con pequeñas rayaduras en la pantalla...

Funcionó bien 6 meses. La luz de fondo o backlight filtra un poco de los lados y esquinas pero tenía buen color así que lo probé. A los 6 meses comenzó a parpadear la parte central y ese parpadeo en dos días terminó como un gradiente negro. Falla de la luz de fondo. El monitor contó con todos los cuidados y precauciones electromagnéticas (regulador de voltaje con supresión de picos y no break, buen cable DP 1.4 sin interferencias, todas las actualizaciones debidas), así que fue claramente falla del producto. Al contactar a Philips para validar su garantía (36 meses en monitores), me hicieron hablar con 10 personas diferentes hasta que una reconoció que no era válida mi garantía porque Amazon no es un distribuidor autorizado de Philips. En este momento espero el reembolso que Amazon prometió ya que me permitieron devolver el producto, pero Philips como compañía quedó mal conmigo y su producto era de pobre calidad. No lo recomiendo.
