Good, but let down by charging efficiency.
Seems like a great product, highly configurable through a familiar interface. One major gripe is the overall efficiency. I'm using this to charge batteries overnight on a cheap rate and then power equipment during the day. The output conversion efficiency (DC to AC) is good, measured at around 90%, but the mains charging efficiency is awful, at around 70-75%, making for a round trip efficiency of only just over 60%. Note I'm charging LiFEPO4 batteries, with a typical charge efficiency of well over 90% so that's not going to be the issue. The charge efficiency is so bad I'm looking to switch this inverter to battery priority mode (fully disables charging) and buy a separate high power charger from Meanwell. On the plus side, the integrated mains charger does charge at 1.2kw, or 70A despite the spec saying 65A. Overall, a pretty good product if efficiency isn't relevant to you. A bit overpriced if you're not going to use the built in charger unfortunately. Seems very well built.
