I was elated to order the NordPod Elite! I am thrilled with what I received! This review will be comprehensive to hopefully allow you to make the best decision on your purchase!You do need a cold plunge tub!I was not able to upload photos to my review but I will keep trying and then update this review with the photos at a later time. I’ve sent the review on because I’m so excited about this plunge tub! I was stalking the delivery person. The box is elongated so I would say that you might need someone to help you carry the box to where you will unbox it. Please unbox in the area you plan on setting it up. This will avoid you opening the box in the house and then having to carry all the pieces outside.I plan on using this after Far Infrared Sauna and after using the Hot Tub in the Winter. I am someone that gets inflammation in my body easily so this should crush inflammation in its tracks along with the other bio-hacks I use like a vibration plate!SHOULD YOU BUY THIS?: Oh my goodness yes. Everyone deserves to be mentally stronger, physically more resilient and free of inflammation and pain, and we especially need this as we age!UNBOXING: You will receive a hand-pump with hose, with a PSI meter so you don’t over or under inflate the tub or the lid. You will also receive a back pack type. There is a patch kit in case of a puncture. You will receive the oval tub itself that pumps up and the All-Weather Lid with lock-in straps that protect it from debris, dirt, bugs and weather.INFLATING AND DRAINING: I was able to inflate this tub easily alone without help. There are specific guidelines in the instructions about the PSI you need to inflate to. It inflated in less than 5 minutes total. There is a water IN and water OUT port, so it fills and drains easily.CLEANING: Simple wipe off and dry. I use a very mild natural cleaner and wipe.PORTABILITY: This tub folds up into the backpack bag with the pump. I can imagine going camping with it when there is water source! What a great way to end the day after hiking, or skiing.DURABILITY: Very durable construction material and made from high-quality materials which will ensure longevity of this product. This company stands by their products and they have lifetime warranty.SIZE AND SHAPE: 51.6" × 29.5" × 25.6" are the dimensions. The tub’s oval shape allows two people in at once! I’m a curvy girl and was able to easily fit and plunge all the way under the water! Woohoo! We haven’t tested this as a two person tub, YET, but I bet someone around six foot tall will be just fine to sit at opposite ends to each other and stretch out. I am 5’5 and was able to fully sit stretched out. This tub holds 57 gallons of water.STARTING OUT: I’ve decided not to ice plunge for a week or so, and gradually acclimate my body to icy plunge temps, so the first time I used it, was with cold water. Believe me when I say it was cold, and I felt the effects of calming, mood and all night sleep after as well as pain relief. I cannot even imagine how good it will be doing an icy plunge! Soon soon! Giving myself time in this way, plunging in the Winter will not be difficult at all. At night, plunge in slightly warmer temperatures to improve sleep and recovery. The emotional benefits are numerous too with alteration of the brain chemicals during plunges! Each plunge becomes easier to accomplish also. Look at it as another way to accomplish health and healing.I started taking colder showers in anticipation of the arrival of my tub. That also helps to not feel the flight or fight shock of the plunge. I plan on living in the tub in the hot summers here for quick cool offs from our sometimes over 100F weather, and using it for benefits only in the colder, frosty, snowy months.There is much scientific study out now about cold plunges and ice baths. Using this tub regularly is beneficial to the whole person and body systems that tend to not work as well or break as we age.SUPPORT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE: There is a full instruction manual. Lifepro has an online VIP Club where you can go and speak to others that have Lifepro products. The support there from product users and Lifepro experts is comforting and helps you avoid simple beginner mistakes. The company and executive management is very responsive. They will care for you in the event of any problem. I’m amazed at the product range this company offers as well and I own more products than just this tub now!

The ice bath was easy to set up and fill and it’s surprisingly durable for the price. The material holds the water temperature well so I could enjoy longer sessions. It’s spacious enough to sit comfortably without feeling cramped draining it is also straightforward which makes for easy cleanup, I gave it five stars but the instructions could be a bit clear and the initial set up took a bit longer than expected, but overall it’s an excellent product if you’re looking to add cold exposure to your recovery routine.

I’ve had a cold plunge tub on my wishlist for a long time now. After some research I found one I L🌀VE from one of my favorite brands. Lifeprous’s NordPod is a portable and easy to set up cold plunge, the NordPod is perfect for use at home, or even on the go. It’s a durable, insulated design that keeps the water cold longer, to help with the perfect plunge wherever you are. It has a secure lid so no debris can get in between plunges. I purchase a separate thermometer, to make sure the water temperature was perfect, I also purchase a hose adapter to empty it. It looks like it fits two people and I’m sure it does but don’t like to be scrunched so my hubby and I plunge one right after the other. I have already traveled with it and it travels well with the travel bag included. It also comes with its own heavy duty pump.

I am 71 years old, and I am very conscious about my health.  I am also very sensitive to cold and prefer warmth.  I wanted to try the ice bath for its health benefits.  After ordering the NordPod Plus, I did a few things to prepare myself.  The first thing I did was to start ending my showers with cold water.  I also went to my daughters and got in her pool at the end of the season. When my tub arrived, the instructions said to begin with water temperatures between 75-80 degrees.  That doesn't seem like it would be cold, but when you think about it, that is around 23 degrees below your body temperature.  My first plunge was just with cold water from the faucet which was 73.2 degrees.  Over the next few days, I lowered the temperature to 69.1 degrees, and I stayed for 3:17 minutes.  I will continue to lower the temperature and stay longer as I research the best practice.  I am going to be able to do this!!The tub is high quality and is easy to set up.  It comes with a very nice pump with instructions on the correct psi to inflate.  Also included were an inflatable lid that latches to the tub, a carrying bag, and a puncture repair kit.  A lifetime warranty is a big plus.I read where an external chiller at an additional cost could be added.  I am not sure if this is offered by LifePro or not, but I will be checking this out.I have added a picture using the tub.  I am only 5 ft so I use a stool to get in and out -but that is no problem.  Check out the bonnet - LOL!!
