quick and easy
Very easy and takes no time to put together. Looks very nice.

Well made, easy assembly, parts fit (which is nice).
This bench is well made and good looking. 6 screws and dowels, some glue and it it ready. One of the seat slats on mine had a ~9" split at one end. Rather than return it, I put some Gorilla Glue in the split and clamped it and it is good as new. I also bought a 4 foot model that was 100% good to go. Shipping packing is good, with solid cardboard edging to protect the contents from shipping gashes and gouges. It's not the cheapest alternative out there but..... you get what you pay for. I'll probably by a third (1, 4' and 1, 5' already) based on my experience with the first 2. And 2 day Prime shipping makes it even better.

Quality of bench
All three shipping cartons were damaged with an end of the bench protruding from it. Need to find a betterway to package. Also one of the screw holes was to large so screw wouldn't tighten. The bench was a lower quality than previously purchased benches from Amazon. The seat just sit in position and is not secured with a fastener to any part of the bench. I guess it comes down to you get what you pay for. I would not purchase this bench again.
