It does what it's purpose is. For the price I can't complain. Clears my main drain when it gets stupid because my system is old and needs work. This is just holding me over for a bit. Used at least 4 times since purchased. Be prepared to get a bit messy with it but I can't imagine doing this work and not expecting that. Not as good as a 1/2 inch one, but this one snakes to end of my line which I need.

Ok, as a licensed plumber here’s my honest opinion. If you’re curious on what to compare this to, it’s almost the same machine as the blue eel machine ! The ad says 2-6” pipe can be snaked with 1/2” cable but it’s really 2-4” . If you have a severe root issue I would not cable your sewer. The engine is surprisingly strong! It has forward neutral and reverse, the clutch is very smooth ,honestly it’s smoother than my spartan 100 and I’m not lying! I cabled a 75ft drain and it opened it with no kinks or issues, if you’re not familiar on how to resolve cable kinks BE CAREFUL! The drum is just as solid as any other machine on the market. The cable itself seems to be as good as the eel not as strong as the spartan ,however if you purchase a stronger cable from spartan it will fit and work! I gave 4 stars cause the pedal is not high quality at all it’s very cheap ,don’t the power cord. So overall for the price you can’t beat it! Only time will tell how long it will work for but for the price WHO CARES!!!

Wish I had this years ago. Every couple years my house needs snaked out, it’s just food and hair build up in the lines. I’ve paid a plumber more than this unit cost, I’ve rented a 100ft snake that wasn’t far from the cost of this unit, and now I’ve used the vevor which has paid for itself. It’s pretty solid, needed almost no assembly, and it should be ready to go the next time it’s called upon. My only gripe is the poor directions, it’s best to just watch a video.

i got mine. i used it was so easy to use but watch your fingers. the machine is the right size for anyone to use, even seniors can do it. saving money these days is important.it removed the clog i had in no time.it functions correctly, and it feels very durable and also the stability is great love it!

It came with cracked castings, but cleared the sewer. I guess it's okay for the price. They gave a slight refund.

I own a two family house and I’m always calling the guy that charges you $600.00 just to unclog. For pipe cleaning it’s another $300. And tp send a camera it will be another $100. So I just got mine today. After having it for one hour I’ve unclogged my sewer line and did some pipe cleaning maintenance? For $200.00 and now I’ll never use that guy that charges you two weeks of wages . Thank VEVOR your my go to …..

Overall this product is terrible, cheaply made, and fell apart during its first use. The snake broke off while in retraction and 80ft is still sitting in my first floor septic line. Normally not a problem but its a solid foundation so I am going to have to buy a brand name machine and use a recovery bit to pull it out. It is obvious looking at the pictures that the metal Vevor used for the snake was cheap and rusting during milling. Additionally, the drive belt for the drum was also made with cheap rubber and small chunks were falling on the floor. The drum that holds the snake came warped from the factory and that also raised an eyebrow as I wasn't sure if it was going to just fall off. If you look closely at the picture, you can see the snake in my shower drain reflecting off the mirror, unfortunately its just out of reach. If you like wasting your time fiddling , this machine is for you. Otherwise, spend a little more money and save yourself the heartache. I do have to send a shout out to Amazon customer service for taking care of me, thank you.

Very heavy machine Works ok Cable isn’t as flexible as I had hoped but it is strong

It is not the right machine for the big evacuation of your house or main drains. It's not very strong and there is only one speed. I also think that more accessories should be made or added.

I knew I was in trouble when I unpacked the power supply only to find a 110v power transformer with a flimsy two pin plug and a loose and very cheap 3 pin 220v power plug/adapter. Within minutes of unpacking and moving the auger a foot to the left, I managed to snag the on/off switch which in turn broke one of the cable retainers. Luckily, I had a few spare retainers so was able to fix. The auger has an RCD attached directly to the power cable which then loosely plugs into the 110V transformer. All very flimsy and not at all what I was expecting. After 5 minutes of gentle use, the transformer cut out. The transformer is French and clearly states that it is strictly only intended for internal use. After 30 minutes cooling down, I was able to use the auger for another 5 minutes or so, before the auger cable snapped off at the connecting joint. After a quick tig weld to the cable joint I was back up and running, but not for long before the underpowered and dangerous power supply overheated again. The auger frame, motor and cable housing feel robust, but if you seriously want to buy this product, you will need to fork out for a proper 110v power supply, buy a 220v rated RCD and a 110v power plug/adapter to sort out the power problems. What is supplied is not fit for purpose: it is badly underpowered, it is precarious and IMHO downright dangerous. If you can fix things when they break, this piece of kit might work for you. If you want something that works safely and without fuss, then probably best to avoid.

La he comprado para llevar el mantenimiento de los desagües no he llegado a utilizarla pero se la ve fuerte y un tamaño bastante bueno el cable es perfecto para mis desagües así que no creo que defraude contento con la compra

If new to this equipment, read and understand the information in the manual, it will help you a lot. Also watch some Youtube videos. It took my husband (not a plumber), the same amount of time that it takes for a plumber to do the job, which we have done every 12 to 18 months because it always blocks at the same point. The next time around the machine will have paid for itself. It’s powerful and well built. The manual version allows you to advance slowly and by feel, so better/safer for novices to use. For us this was definitely a worthwhile investment particularly since plumbers are in short supply in our area.
