Great pencils.
Great pencils, lovely design. I noted someone said that there was damage to the holo wrapping. I have seen a tiny bit of this but not on all and not much. They are lovely to write with.

Damaged Goods & Postage Outweighs Value
Very disappointed. Shipping package was OK, but box inside torn & some pencils missing. This was obviously damaged when packed. For a refund Amazon want me to pay shipping to USA. My faith in Amazon has been severely diminished when goods are knowingly shipped damaged and short. It was supposed to be a gift.

Super cool finish that does rub off; dark lead that doesn't smudge
I feel like I'm in elementary school again when writing with these pencils, and I mean that in the best possible way. These pencils look so cool with their holographic body and black wood core. The finish is great. Neither it nor the black from the wood rub off on fingers. These pencils sharpen great and hold a point very well. The lead is strong, and it is nice and smooth to write with. It doesn't smudge either, even if you're a lefty.I'm usually a mechanical pencil kind of a girl, but I love writing with these holographic pencils. Now I just need to find my old Lisa Frank notebooks...

The Pencil That Survived My Classroom
The Ticonderoga Noir pencils are both functional and stylish. The holographic design makes them easy to identify in a classroom full of standard yellow pencils, which was a huge plus for me as a teacher. The lead is soft and produces a smooth, dark line. While they may need sharpening more frequently during heavy use, the writing quality makes up for it. Ticonderoga continues to be my go-to brand for durability and performance.
