Replaced some old fixture bulb type with these in my 2003 Monaco, Camelot, RV. Works nice and much cooler light.

We have been updating our older RV in lieu of taking out a huge loan to upgrade. We have painted and wallpapered and redone all of the window treatments. I was very excited to run across these lights which are the same style we just installed in our house only much smaller. They install very easily with the existing wiring and we only had to cut a bit larger hole in the ceiling to fit the 2 1/2 inch round lights up into. The lights have spring clips on each side which snap open after you insert the light into the ceiling and hold it tightly flush with the ceiling giving a nice clean more modern look. I love the black edging around the light too it helps with the modern look. The lights state that they work with a dimmer switch and I definitely plan to add one soon. It would be great to be able to leave them on very low at night to make getting around the RV in the middle of the night a bit easier without having to turn on a bright light.

These fit the sizing we needed and give out a good amount of light. So overall I'm happy with them. Just make sure that you account for the springs when you measure the size you need. I didn't and it made for additional work when installing them. Nothing major, just more time. Now that they are into the holes I'm looking forward to many years of service and can say I'd purchase again.

I tested these out at 12.8V, and at that voltage they are pulling 1.6A, so that's right on the money for 2W.They put out a pretty good amount of light for only 2W. It's a softer light, which is great for a camper or similar. I'm using these in a solar powered shed enclosure and they work fine for that.I'm taking off two stars because the black wire is positive and the white wire is negative. That's a big no-no for DC installations, and is going to cause problems down the road for someone.Yes, AC has the black wire hot and white wire neutral, but this is DC, not AC, and black is always negative with DC. Someone somewhere messed up big time.

I didn’t pay enough attention to the specs when ordering these. They are only 2.75” in diameter and I needed something closer to 4”. That’s my fault though. Even though they aren’t going to work for what I ordered them for I’m holding on to them for another project. I’ve tested them and the 3000K is plenty bright without being awful on the eyes. They’re very slick and modern looking and the spring clip design should install quickly when I’m ready.

Sharp looking lights, easier to install than my previous set of lights that had to be screwed in, these have spring retainers instead. The retainers worked fine on 1/4 panel. They worked fine with my dimmer too.I couldn't find anywhere in the ad the watts of these lights, but the packaging shows they are 2W.

These are smaller than I thought they would be. I put a AA battery next to it in the picture for reference. The are pretty solidly built though. They have a great finish and good retention springs. The wiring is simple and everything seems pretty good. I'll have to remember to update after using them for a while.
