Escape Room

Wow. I've seen the big budget, studio film "Escape Room" but this show was much better in terms of what I was expecting when viewing an escape room movie.Granted the acting in this movie was a little rough here and there but overall this is what I was expecting when I watched the bigger budget movie.I'd have given 5 stars but the movie dragged in a couple of places, their were too many people ganging up on Anderson, and some of the acting & script needed a little more polish. However, I enjoyed this movie. It did have two twists that I didn't see at all which was refreshing.All in all, I was impressed. I'd definitely recommend it if you find "escape rooms" and the movies about "escape rooms" interesting. I did get to watch it for free so I might have scored it lower if I had to pay for it so keep that in mind too.Otherwise, enjoy the show & see you at the next review!

With the SAME EXACT TITLE, this movie can't really escape the impression that someone is copying someone else's homework. However, I was pleasantly surprised that this one has almost nothing in common with the other one beyond the title and the general concept of an escape room where the game turns out to be way too real. I liked the puzzles and I liked watching the characters solve them. The characters themselves feel real enough that I care about them, and the kills are mostly creative, with good FX behind them. Plus, the movie makes the most of a small set. I'm not sure this one sticks the landing - things unravel a bit at the end and the final bit is rather odd if I recall, but hey, endings are hard, and I don't remember it being bad enough to ruin the experience, or even particularly bad at all, just not as good or tightly wrapped as it could have been. If you like escape rooms and you like the concept of an escape room turned serious, you will probably enjoy this one.

I'm a person that will turn off the movie if I don't like it. I watched this entire film, so I have to admit the storyline is pretty good. It isn't scary, but it is entertaining. It is nothing like the film of a similar name (which is better x100) The ending sucks, but most horror movies usually have disappointing endings. I had hoped for a twist or reveal - nada.

the movie was a good thriller, but a little to gross. interesting to see how they figured out the clues .. on the other hand , if your a guy , they had some really cute chicks in it .

The movie started off slow. I think it could have been better if it wasn't so rushed but wit that being said it was a good movie. You will be able to watch it all the way through. I really liked when the actors were in the escape rooms solving the clues. I think the director should of stretched that out just a little bit more. And the beginning of the movie should have shown more than one guy in the escape room to pull the audience into the picture. But with that being said it did not take away from the movie. I just think the movie was rushed and the ending was stupid. I just wish more thought would have been put into the movie but it is not a bad movie. It is actually a good movie but it could have been better if it wasn't so rushed. You will enjoy the movie if you like psychological thrillers. But to me the movie was good but seemed to be rushed.

Was a good movie, kinda boring at the beginning, but gets better! Didn’t see the ending that came either!

The only reason we are giving this low rating is because we looked up first to be sure it had no nudity in it and then we watched it. But at the very end of the movie it had lots of nudity we look back to see the guidance chart again and it still showed it had no nudity. That’s just a line our family draws in the sand and so we spent money on a product that wasn’t explained very well. Needed more details in the movie description.

Most people are giving this movie only one star and I don't know why. Yes, this movie is a lot like the SAW movies, but it has a lot of distinct characteristics too. Each escape room/stage tests human nature and how one needs to overcome pettiness and fear. I think the SAW generation is over and this is just the next new thing to "punish" people and point out their flaws.

This product is damaged during the manufacturing process. I bought two copies of this product and both have distortions and interference beginning at approximately the 50 minute mark. The image skipping and distorting makes the content unintelligible.

Not bad, no where near as good as the other escape room though. If you like mild gore and simple puzzles, you might like it. Felt like a budget version of escape room, no cool special effects or anything.

very good movie, and you should add it to your collection. I just wasn't crazy about the ending.

Quitte à insister sur ce que le premier commentaire indique, ce film d'un casting des plus médiocre recycle le concept des énigmes conduisant à une mort douloureuse. Là ou le premier Saw innovait réellement, cela était justement par la qualité de l'intrigue et l'excellence de la mise en scène : ensuite on aime ou pas les Torture Porn de ce genre, qui est une variation sur le thème plus classique depuis Délivrance du Survival , mais avec moult traitements dégradant pour les acteurs, mais c'est déjà une autre débat sans rapport avec le film. Sur ce point Escape Room donne quelques scènes trashs, distrayantes, mais qui ne relèvent jamais le niveau du film. En plus, les acteurs sont dans l'ensemble mauvais et il est difficile d'éprouver de l'empathie pour eux, ce qui tout de même dommage...Si vous voulez voir un fil de ce genre plus tonique je vous recommande Saw 8, qui est au moins l'original et non une pâle copie.Disons que si vous pouvez visionner ce film sans l'acheter cela sera parfait pour vous. je n'en recommande vraiment pas l'achat.
