I bought this specifically to livestream Splatoon 3 to my mutual friends who enjoy the game. A few things to note: Pros - Design wise it looks decent enough. I didn't buy the device for the look so much as the price point. - Sound-wise it is purportedly crisp. The first thing I did with it was pop it open and get to work streaming in a server with friends, they immediately said it looked and sounded crisp. - Visual quality seems to be 1:1 save for spare moments where it lags behind for a few moments in OBS camera. - Works perfectly fine, cheaper than expensive alternatives and way better for the cost. - Plug and play, so you don't need to install 90 drivers just to use one device. Cons - It definitely could do without the light bar. It looks cool, but it's annoying after a while being so bright in the dark of my room. - If you run this directly into Discord it flattens the picture quality, you have to use a separate software like OBS to run it through a virtual camera output before it looks anywhere near clear. - The port layout could do with a bit of work, the power cable is a bit close to the hdmi port on one side. Ultimately I reccommend this especially if you don't want to throw money at a large company selling exactly the same product for ten times the price.

After ditching my cheap Tiktok capture card, I use this capture card to stream and record gameplay from my PS5, and it's been a GREAT addition to my setup. Combined with my FIFINE AM8 microphone, SC8 audio mixer, and XLR cable, everything works together really well for creating content. The gameplay comes through smoothly at 1080p60, setup with StreamLabs was simple, and I can capture clear gameplay while keeping my audio sounding clean. It's a solid option if you're looking to build an affordable streaming setup without sacrificing quality.

I was very excited for this as an avid Fifine user but it's very apparent that this product needed some more time in the oven before it was ready to ship out. When it works, it works well. There is very little delay on video and audio, and the quality is really good, but that's for the 10% of the time that it works without trouble. After about 2 weeks with the product I had a few days where it didn't give me any issues, but other days I was encountering black screens, connection issues, and broken drivers. The first day I tried to use it, it took me about 2 hours to convince it to work properly, after about 20 minutes it broke again and took me another 20 to fix again. And I say 'fix' lightly. There is no real fix for this thing when it has issues, you are quite literally just throwing stuff at the wall and hoping it sticks. After many hours of fighting this thing it's apparent that there is some sort of boot issue that is causing the computer's USB port to be unable to read the device most of the time, which causes the device to malfunction and not connect. This means you then have to uninstall the device, restart your computer, and try again. And again and again and again until you finally have that miracle moment where everything goes right and the device connects properly and doesn't short out. It's unfortunate, because this product COULD be really good. For the quality I was getting when it did work, I thought it was great for the price. But unfortunately, I just don't have the time (or patience) to fight with the thing for an hour or two every time I want to use it. I'll be returning it-- hoping Fifine can come up with something better in the future, but for now I can guarantee you'd even be better off with even a 20 dollar capture card.

The FIFINE V3 Capture Card has been a great addition to my content creation setup. Video quality is sharp and smooth, and it has been easy to integrate into my recording workflow. Setup only took a few minutes, and it worked well with my equipment right away. The compact design is nice because it doesn’t take up much space on my desk, and it’s easy to take with me if I need to record somewhere else. If you’re looking for a reliable capture card for recording or streaming gameplay, this is an excellent option that delivers great performance for the price.

Video quality is pretty good, 1080p and hitting 60fps just fine according to OBS while I play the Switch 2 version of Pokemon Scarlet. Very little latency to the point where it's almost non-existent, but somehow the visual clarity isn't as clear as when I check the passthrough on another monitor. Was quite literally plug and play, no issues getting it to work at all, even have a hdmi splitter so I can swap between switch 1 and 2 quickly (might be the cause of visual clarity being lower than the passthrough at times). Haven't streamed with it yet, and I do see a lot of people saying "If it can't do 1440p then why should we even bother", and to that all I have to say is that most streamers, even larger ones, still just stream at 1080p. If you need a 1440p passthrough for your own monitor, so be it, but personally this is doing just fine for the price point.

Picked this up to start streaming, setup was super easy. Video quality is clean, there's no noticeable input delay while playing, and it's been reliable during longer streams. If you're just getting into streaming and don't want to spend a ton of money, this is definitely worth checking out. Solid value for a budget capture card.

If I could give no stars I would. 0/10 product. Would not recommend. I wanted to get a different capture card with less delay and this thing didn’t even turn on after I connected everything right. And apparently there’s some sort of HDCP block on the card that you have to use a small tool to bypass. A lot of bs honestly. Don’t buy this and again would not recommend. I’ll just stick to my USB 3.0 Capture Card

Excellent entry-level capture card, tested it on MacBook, Steam Deck, and PlayStation 5 it performed flawlessly everywhere. According to other reviews mentioning a black screen, most likely on the PS5 you need to disable the piracy protection feature in the settings for it to work correctly. The device looks great, and you can turn off the RGB lighting if you want. Highly recommend it for purchase!

My computer was struggling with recording/streaming quality, so I went to this to offload all of my OBS shenanigans from my gaming pc to my MacBook. Records in great quality and is super easy to set up; if you have another computer you want to use for recording or streaming, definitely buy this.
