Great way to wean a baby from a swaddle
Ever since my baby started to show signs of rolling I started to grow concerned. The reason why is because my baby sleeps so soundly swaddled and yes i don't want my baby to roll over on her face and suffocate, but i really was scared that i wouldn't be able to get sleep anymore because she is used to being swaddled. Yes sounds selfish but that's the first thing that came to mind. So i started swaddling her with her hands free... and it was a nightmare. She kept scratching her face, rubbing her eyes, and bopping her head with her hands (yes it's not her fault, it's common for babies to do this, they can't help it) and these involuntary movements kept waking her up when she was about to fall asleep. This was quite frustrating. So i read these parenting forums online and lots of parents sugfested the zipadee. I said "hell why not, i will give it a try". Once she was in it she couldn't scratch herself and her eye rubbing wasn't as irritating to her thanks to the triangular sleeves. Long story short she has slept pretty well, not as good as swaddled arms sleep but leagues better than free arm swaddling. All i can say is that this was a good buy for me, it may work for you and if it doesn't it's still a usable wearable blanket for a cold day and i wish you luck with weaning your babe from swaddling.

Perfect transition from LoveToDream
My baby loved her LoveToDream swaddle with her arms up by her face, but the arms that zip off of those didn’t work great for her. This zipadee zip swaddle lets her extend her arms up further but she’s not completely free. She started rolling so I had to find something quick and I’m so glad I found this swaddle! She took to it perfectly! I tested it out to see how well she would do in it if she did end up rolling over in it and she was able to completely hold her head and chest off the ground and flip herself back over if needed. I also purchased the Velcro belly band with it. She sleeps better with it on than off. I think it helps her feel snug like the previous swaddle and also keeps it out of her face. I do feel like it’s a bit pricey for something they grow out of so quickly and you’d have to buy again for the next size up. I had to buy a small for her weight and she’s had it a month and now it’s almost time to buy the medium. It’s a thin lightweight material, not meant to be stretchy. It’s like a tshirt material. It’s held up well to many washes. I am for sure buying the next size up when time comes. It was worth it.

Ended up buying more!
Our daughter was able to roll over before or Moro reflex (startle reflex) was gone so it was hard for her to stay asleep. This allowed her to sleep safely but help with the swaddling and even keep her warm at night. The first one we bought at 5 months old and the small (4M-8M) was a little big but worked fine and is growing into it. We loved it so much decided to get a couple more so we can switch out for washing. I accidentally bought mediums (6M-12M) and they were huge! Major size difference and had to return both. As amazing as they are I don't understand the sizing. But will still get more smalls which will last a long time. She is now 6 months old, 15 1)5 lbs. and 27 inches long and there is plenty of room to grow. The front does bunch at the zipper at the top but that never seemed to bother her.

Would recommend
Loved these, bought two different sizes for when he grew. They were a good transition out of the swaddle. My son was breaking free at 3 months but was definitely still having the Moro reflex that would wake him up or not help him settle to sleep. This was great for in between swaddle and sleepsack. Size Small was a great size for 3-6month -and he’s a large baby. It was snug but not too snug. Medium we got just in case small started to get too small and for a back up, but we ended up just using both until we stopped completely at 7 months when i just felt like moving him to sleep sack. Also loved that he had the freedom to roll over in this but that his hands were still covered for colder nights. He rolled over and slept on his stomach a lot In these when he learned how to, and i never felt worried he couldn’t get back over. The material is great for hot summer months because it’s nice and light but during winter you can still put thick PJs on and then have this light material on top and not overheat. Would definitely recommend if you are in that awkward in between phase or just want to try out another sleep sack option. Wish it was a bit cheaper but what can you do when they are all so dang expensive.

Finally got some sleep!
As others have mentioned, the price is a bit much. However, I was desperate for sleep and my son’s startle reflex was still very strong at 4 months old. So I took the plunge. All in all, the product itself was very successful for us. It calmed his startle reflex and along with some light sleep training my son went from waking up every 45 minutes to sleeping 6 hour stretches. He still startles but is able to “catch” himself. There’s two pretty annoying flaws considering the price. The fabric is lightweight, which I like. I live in Florida and wouldn’t want anything heavier. But it’s cheap material, I’ve washed it twice on the gentle cycle and it’s already showing signs of wear. Also, the zipper does creep up over his face. I don’t see this as dangerous as much as it is just annoying to the baby and is sure to wake them up. After a few times of waking him up, I remembered another review saying they tied it with a hair tie. I did the same and tied the bottom of the zipper. It works but for the price, I kind of resent having to do that. Overall, I do recommend the product because it’s helped my baby and I sleep, FINALLY!

Zippy love
My babies (#4 is currently 6 months old, almost 20 lbs, size medium zippy) have all slept in Zipadee-zips from the time they can’t be swaddled safely anymore until they can safely have loose blankets in bed with them. We like to keep the thermostat low and the fans on in our house, so the Zippy assures my mama heart that my baby isn’t going to get cold all alone in his crib, especially for those who liked being double-swaddled-warm as newborns. 3 out of my 4 also use(d) the zippy hand corners as something to suck on and self-soothe, which is extra great when they have self-weaned from pacifiers by 4-5 months old. That sucking recently completely wore out my other size medium Zippy, hence buying this new teal one. I love the new seam structure on it; it looks like it will hold up to hand-sucking better/longer. The color is vibrant. This one is polyester with a little spandex. It is soft, although not quite as soft as the cotton/modacrylic blend of Zippy’s I have bought in the past—but that could partially be that my others are all at least 5 years old and very worn-in. Baby is sleeping just as comfortably as far as I can tell (2 weeks so far) as he was in the other. I do like the zipper pull on this one, a good size and comfy to use.

10/10 recommend
My baby had such a strong startle reflex and couldn't sleep without being held. He started rolling early and we couldn't swaddle him any more. We tried many products that didn't help and thought that we were just going to have a baby that couldn't sleep alone. Then I came across the Zipadee-zip and thought we might as well try one more product. We didn't have a lot of hope in it. My baby immediately loved it and now cannot sleep without it. He used to cry any time we set him down to sleep and now he knows once we zip him up it's time to sleep and he falls asleep within 5-10 minutes and no longer needs to be held! This product saved our sanity!! It keeps his hands warm, allows freedom to move his arms enough in case he rolls while also calming his startle reflex. We love his zipadee-zips and will continue to buy them. In fact, it's almost time to size up. The designs are super cute too! You will not regret this purchase!

Poor Quality and Overpriced
While this works ok as a swaddle transition, it wasn't the miracle product others seem to have found. Honestly he didn't sleep any better or longer in this than in other sleep sacks. The main issue is that it is SO cheaply made with the lowest quality fabric you can imagine. Please look at the above picture for how it looks after a few weeks of use and just a couple of washes! For something half the price I would be disappointed. As others have noted, the belt is also thin, cheap and loses usability within a few washes. The dollar store sells items that are better quality than that thing! It does look very cute on, like a wing suit. So if you want to imagine your baby is about to base jump off the Matterhorn, this is a good choice. And worked equally well to cosplay a ninja, samurai or little Shaolin monk. So there's Halloween sorted! Unfortunately I would not buy this again since there just isn't a point to paying over for the brand version. I think I would just buy one of the many half priced imitations out there since the quality could not possibly be lower. It's a shame, since I imagine it would only cost the company a few dollars more to use a hardier fabric and this increase their sales and reputation, but apparently Penny pinching is their top priority here! Disappointing.

Our favorite over the last decade!
Just purchased this for my 4th baby, we've used them for all 4 kids and they are by far the best!

Baby sleeps like a dream!
This sleep sack worked so great for our baby transitioning from her swaddle. She sleeps so much better with it. It does start to pill in the hands from her chewing and moving around in it. Other than that, it's amazing! She's a super tall baby so the med size is perfect with room to grow. It's light enough for hot days and warm enough for cooler nights.

I found it useful
Great for keeping your child from scratching and also keeping them warm while they sleep

Best sleep sack
My daughter will only sleep in these, keeps her hands protected so she doesn’t scratch. Lots of room so she never feels restricted. Fabric does pill after some wear so they should look into sourcing different fabric such as bamboo or something natural for the price you pay.

Bally
It’s made from white thin material so it’s ideal for summer months. It got terribly bally, specifically at the corners where my little one liked to try to suck on his hands, after being washed a handful of times.
