Proper install a bit tricky, but works great!
Not the nicest looking thing, and the valves / openings could be larger, but overall it’s the closest thing to a “full flow” valve that I’ve found. Once properly installed it works well! Proper installation is a bit tricky, mainly because the included rubber o rings are junk. (Mine came with 4; one installed in the unit and 3 spares). The one installed from the factory had 3 little nubs on the edges, and leaked. The other 3 worked better, but would sometimes get bunched up/stuck to the pipe and not seat properly. I basically found that you got one good shot at it for each o ring. When properly installed and tightened, the unit does not spin and won’t leak. If you don’t have a good seal (eg, the gasket isn’t positioned correctly), the unit will spin when tightened, and will leak. The included ptfe tape is not great; I’d recommend using your own to get a good seal.

Finally a full flow divertor for the shower.
I have a dog. He's a golden retriever. He has lots and lots of fur. Our family has hair and a half inch plumbing main running through a filter and water softener. I need all the flow I can get to try and reduce pressure drop and also need to hook up a wand to wash el doggo. Obviously the supplied divertor that came with the waterpick animal washer (amazing product by the way) failed after a year or so like they all do. I was redoing the shower anyway and finally found this. It's an actual ball valve in an actual brass housing.....miracles happen. It also has bright yellow handles for unknown reasons. Thankfully with proper prep they took darker nickel paint. The nickel one is just slightly brighter than a 'standard' brushed nickel fixture but not by much. This thing is great and I'm not going to have a leaking one after a year...and the pressure coming out of the dog wand is drastically higher. Take that retriever fur from hell.

It worked great for an inside pickle.
I bought this to use on a water line, used for a clothes washer, that is in another person's home. The washer is next to the kitchen counter. I bought them a Costway countertop dishwasher and placed it next to the clothes washer. They had a bell-shaped sink faucet end, so we couldn't use the hose that came with it. I took this Y to three big box home improvement stores looking for adapters / fittings. I was told that the thread on the Y was unknown or that a garden hose thread adapter would not fit the dishwasher or this Y. I was also told that I could not use a GHT on the dishwasher's threads. Everything was in plastic bags. SMH I bought a universal dishwashing kit with various fittings. Funny, it had a GHT fitting with it. We had no problem attaching this Y to the water line. We simply hooked up the straight leg of the Y to the main water line, one angled leg to the clothes washer line, and the other angled leg to the dishwasher water line from the universal kit. The independent shut offs work great. This also allowed the sink to be used without a hose in the way.

100% zero reduction of water flow!
love this product! this is the only diverter valve i can find anywhere, that doesn't have flow restricter built in. the valve is literally wide open with no flow obstructions or flow limiters. most people focus too much on the water flow rating of shower head, but most water flow issues are much further upstream, and this high flow valve can make even a 1.8gpm shower head feel strong.

Function: 5 stars, looks: 4
It does the job perfectly but it would be nice if it came in chrome or stainless steel for non-industrial home applications, like my home shower. :) I use it to switch between the shower head and a hand wand. I know, that's overkill, and I could buy a combined unit with a built-in valve, but then I don't have exactly the head or wand that I want. If they made a pretty version, that would be great too. But this works great! Industrial strength and quality are 5 stars, just the link brings it down a star. I like the brass look, but it doesn't match everything else in the house is all. A chrome version would be nice. I use it anyway.

Great Solution for a low pressure shower issue
This is my story. I recently bought a new dual shower head with a hand held shower head mounted on the wall for a dual shower head experience. However after hooking it up I was terribly disappointed by the shower water pressure. not only was the pressure bad with one head on but with both on at the same time just didn't work at all. So I took a chance with this full flow diverter attachment. I removed the diverter valve that came with the shower head and replaced it with this new attachment. I was amazed at how the difference in water pressure was hindered by the diverter valve that came with the new shower and how much this new attachment made 1000% difference. And even have the ability to have both heads on at once or just one or have one on at half flow to save water when soaping up. It's great!!!. So anyone having water pressure in the shower should get rid of the diverter valve that came with their shower head because it's made for saving water consumption at the cost of pressure reduction and purchase one of these to solve the problem. Hope this helps someone else.

So good I bought two more. MAXIMUM FLOW.
I want full water flow and pressure. These did the trick. I don't know why shower accessories feel the need to gatekeep the water flow. I am aware of the federal law about water flow, but that just needs to be one step in the process. Let the shower head or shower handle minimize the flow. My drill and needle nose pliers usually can take care of the flow issue. But not with this item! It already has completely unrestricted flow. And very sturdy. You can feel it's strength when you install it and use it. Absolutely no flexing. Always use teflon tape and rubber washers to prevent leaks, and these are full proof. I now have THREE hand held wands in my shower. All with maximum flow.

Severely reduced water flow
Excellent, solid build. Unfortunately, you do NOT get the flow equivalent to the size of the pipe. The internal diameter is significantly reduced, impeding the flow. Will return.
