can i get a new filter less than a week light it started to flash ,, can i get a replacement..

The light is only a timer. Not a water quality sensor. If it's flashing after a week that just means the light needs to be reset. Then it will flash in 2 months. You don't need a new filter for 2 months, just reset the light

I just purchased this pitcher and the light consistently flashes blue? I held for 3 seconds hoping to reset and it didn't help.

I think it’s supposed to flash each time you refill the resivor if pressed normally.

Is alumina in the filter?

Hi, Thanks for your interest in our product. Please note there are six layers in the filter: Non-woven fabric, activated carbon, resin, alkaline material, carbon fiber, non-woven fabric. There is no alumina in the filter. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us. Enjoy the rest of your day! Kind Regards Mia Lauren Customer Service Rep
