As an avid collector of coins I was really excited to get this display case for my coins….Some of the cases I already have do not have the glass top so I have to open them up fully to look at the coins…This one due to having the glass front there is no need to open it and this will stop dust from getting inside….This is a black box with a good deep foam padding to lay your collectibles on….this is removable if you had chunkier items….but for me laying coins on the foam the lid will still shut….Has two flip down latches on the front….Box seems sturdy for lightweight items ….
