Not what I expected
The advertising about this book indicated a greater expectation than was delivered. I expected much more detail on each of the subjects listed as covered. It does cover what it says, but only, in my opinion as an overview. If I had seen the book prior to purchase I would not have bought it. Perhaps it is being discounted for good reason?

It is what it says it is
No tech manual thats for sure. Its a puff piece for the Mitsubishi Pajero. Well writen and full of good pictures. Some technical data but not much. The writer probably sleeps with his car as the book gushes with praise for this 4x4. But it's a good read for the Pajero fans out there. If you want a workshop manual look else where.

Not a workshop maintenance manual
The cover clearly gives the impression this book provides information for "maintaining", sadly the content cannot be considered as containing any useful practical maintenance advice. Not what I expect from Haynes.

Just A Small Gripe
I have owned my Shogun from new in 1992 I bought this manual as it said it was for shoguns up until 1993 however my vehicle is the Mk 2 and the vehicle in the manual is the Mk1. Probably not that much difference under the bodywork. The Australian softcover version was probably the manual I should have bought? Mitsubishi Shogun and L200 Owner's Workshop Manual (Haynes Owners Workshop Manuals)

Disappointed.
This book does not do what it says on the cover. No real detail. No real technical history. Does not tell you how to maintain the vehicle. Does not tell you how to modify your Shogun. (eg. fitting off road kit like snorkels, suspension upgrades, etc.etc.) Not worth buying. Rubbish.
