Dr. Martens 1460 Women's Leona Vintage Smooth Boots

They're lovely boots. Nice height, feminine and very comfortable. The leather is soft and I imagine if the Size is perfect, they will fit like gloves. They're on the heavy side, where each weighs around 900ish gram. Sadly they're too big and my feet are swimming in them. Go down half size if you can. I have wide feet and these boots are perfect. I've become a bigger and bigger fan of Dr Martens over this year (only about 30 years after they were such a grunge hit!) These are so comfortable, without even needing any breaking in; they have a perfectly sized heel for giving a bit of height and trend, while still being very functional. I love the colour of these boots, as they go with just about any outfit. They are true leather, as well, and so are very breathable without overheating my feet. The price for these shoes is well worthwhile and I have become a much bigger Docs fan after wearing these.

They didn’t need breaking in. Absolutely amazing boots. Style is classy, fit is perfect and I just love these boots. I’m normally a 6.5 so got a 7 and with socks they fit perfect. I love them and would buy them in every colour!

They do require wearing in, do not use first time and go for a longwalk!!! Very comfortable with a plaster or compeed! Wider fit ...

Will need breaking in, but the wife loves them. Feel the quality. Recommend buying the socks to go with them.

Fab boots! I have eight other pair of Dr Martensl shoes and they're all true to size. I honestly think that these are almost one size too big. It doesn't prevent me from wearing them. But my toes have ample room. I would buy these again, but I would size down next time

These are absolutely stunning! However, the sizes do run large. I bought them for someone with size 7 1/2 feet and figured to go with an 8. They were a size too large, so I’ll need to exchange them for a 7.

The Steel toe Dr Martins Maple zip are perfect! I have never worked in a factory before I took this temporary assignment. Consequently I’ve never worn steel toed boots. I went to Boot Country and tried on every style they had and nothing felt right. Plus I knew I would have to spend at least $100 if not more and I probably wouldn’t be wearing them all that long. So I wanted to try to find something that I might be able to wear outside the factory once my assignment was over. Boot Country had 1 pair of dr martins in women’s and they were black Maple Zip but they were like 3 sizes too big. All of the Docs in mens were either to big or clunky and heavy. I searched and searched all over the internet looking for a pair of descent looking boots that weren’t like $200. Finally after days of looking I found a pair of women’s Dr Martins Maple Zip in the color Teak (dark brown). I was still skeptical, thinking they might be too heavy or they wouldn’t be good quality. When I got them they had been sitting outside on the porch in 25 degree weather all day. I brought them in and put them on, and yeah, at first they were really stiff from it being cold. But after I messed with the laces to get them to a comfortable tightness and they started to warm up they were actually really comfortable. As for the weight, of anyone has ever worn Dansko’s nursing shoes, the weight feels similar and my heel even slipped a little bit but I didn’t mind because I figured I’d wear ya pairs of socks. The one spot that was just a bit tight was on my right foot on the fight side just behind the toe box. My feet are pretty narrow so it didn’t bother me too much and I knew they would loosen up there once I broke them in. I wore them for about a week, for a few hours a day and after that my first 8 hr work day finished breaking them in. No blisters or raw spots. The leather is soft but not too soft. And the color is beautiful. Having the zip makes them really efficient, once you get them tightened just right, all you have to do is just slide your foot in and zip them up saves the tome of having to tie them. So I definitely suggest these to anyone looking for a nice steel toed work boot. With a great price point of $130!

Although it was a bit pricey for my liking I’m happy with my purchase. This has been my go to winter boots. I know it will last a while.
