It works, soft and bouncy
This is a good product give allows my waves and curls to bounce, not greasey and gunky. AND water soluble, which means I don’t have to shampoo my hair to remove the product. You only need a little so it will last along time

Great for fine curls (and stubborn greys)
I have naturally curly grey hair and I have been struggling to find something that has a nice hold and is not heavy. This foaming gel is awesome on my mediumto fine hair. The scent is nice as well. It left my hair defined and soft but not overly conditioned. It was not weighed down and it wasn't "too soft" (some products are so conditioning that my curls will lose hold and elongate). I typically go for cheaper products (Aussie works great for me) but once I. A while I treat myself to a travel size more expensive product so I can try it out and see what results I get. With this purchase I feel its worth me saving money to purchase a full size. Good luck to others! If you have tight medium or loose curly hair you will love this.

Amazing!
The best styling product I’ve found for fine, thin curly/wavy hair. Most gels either weigh my hair down or leave it crunchy, but the Verb Foam Gel gives lightweight hold with actual definition and volume. My curls stay soft, bouncy, and frizz-controlled without looking greasy or flat. It layers really well with a light leave-in and doesn’t make my hair feel coated. Perfect for air drying and refreshing second-day curls too. A little goes a long way, and it gives that effortless, healthy curl look without sacrificing movement.

Not great for my hair
I waited to write this review until I had the opportunity to really test this gel. I purchased this in September '25 and wrote this in March '26. Quick points: - Smell is fine, not overly perfumed, doesn't smell great but isn't noxious either - Texture is slick and kind of slimy, not sticky - I would not call this a foam - Less viscous than honey but not watery - The pump head is short. I struggled to balance keeping the bottle upright so the pump would work, while also tilting the bottle enough that the gel still ended up in my hand. - Does leave a mild gel cast after drying I have thick hair that sits just above my shoulders. I have a mixed texture, with patches ranging from 2C to 3B. I live in a very humid and hot climate. My experience is obviously subjective. This gel weighs my hair down more than traditional gel in a tub; if I use enough product to prevent frizz I lose all volume at my crown. I do not get good definition regardless of how I've tried to style (including: denman brush, finger curling, soaking wet, partially dry, air drying or diffusing) it looks like I'm on my second or third hair day. Even with that, I don't think this is a bad product and it's worth trying. I do wish the pump nozzle was longer though.

Formula change?
This product used to work wonders for my thin, fine hair. My curls were not weighed down, and my hair felt great. It smelled really good, too. But I think the formula changed when the orange bottle rolled out. There’s almost a chemical smell, and my hair doesn’t curl as well. It’s weird, it’s somehow more sticky but leaves my hair more dry? So disappointed because it took forever to find a product that worked for me.

Great for fine wavy frizz prone hair
I have fine, thin 2b wavy hair that frizzes every chance it gets. Getting a smooth cuticle only happens for me with a salon blowout. I’ve never had such defined, frizz free waves before trying this product. I applied it after a leave in conditioner and let it air dry for about 90 minutes, then used a diffuser to help the drying process. After fully drying, scrunched gently with a tiny bit of Evo Head Mistress. Result was frizz free beachy waves that lasted after sleeping on it too. Can honestly say I’ve never had such a good result and I’ve tried nearly everything under the sun.

Didn't deliver as advertised for fine curls
I am SO disappointed I spent so much money on this foaming gel from VERB. It's advertised as a lightweight 2-in-1 for fine curls; it weighed mine down like glue on my head and made everything feel gummy from root to end. I can layer two or three different Ouidad products and still get more volume and softness than I got with this combo foaming gel. It also smells rotten, like old orange rinds that have been sitting in the trash too long.

A must for wavy/curly hair
This hybrid product feels very weird, I’ll be honest. But the weight and hold is perfect for my 2b/c waves. I use the verb leave-in conditioner first, then section my hair and apply this. Air drying or diffusing both leave me with a nice cast, little frizz, and good definition in my hair. I finish with the Verb ghost oil to scrunch out the crunch - hair looks beautiful, every time. My air type will only hold maybe 2 days with a re-fresh before I have to wash and style again. But I think the cast holds well enough over those few days.

Amazing on my thick coarse hair
Great gel mousse hybrid, works very well for my thick and coarse curly hair. Works even better for definition when combined with a more hydrating curl cream has this foaming gel alone could be quite drying from time to time.

It works
I like the softer feel vs some other mouses I’ve used . I have naturally curly should length thin hair so I can’t use a lot of product. It’s watery upon dispensing yes but that’s probably why it works as it’s not too heavy of a product for my thin hair.

New, not improved
I really liked this product when I first got it, I originally heard about it on Manes by Mel. The company reformulate though and it now has an odd smell, doesn't seem to foam up well, and is heavier and stickier in my hair. It may still be good for others pr in a pinch, but I have long, fine hair and it just isn't what it used to be.
