Just Brilliant.
Having had the unit for nearly 6 weeks, and probably using for in excess of 10 hours per day, all I can say is wow.The unit brings the temperature down considerably from 32°c in the bedroom down to 23/24°c in a couple of hours. I leave it on during the night which brings temperature down to 18/19.The unit is a little noisy but no worse than a powerful fan but the reward is so worth it. Just stick it on an hour or two before bed and go to bed in a completely cooler space.I wish I'd have bought this years ago. The product is probably worth double but for the peace of mind of knowing you will get a good night's sleep, no matter the heat. Photos of my set up included. It isn't easily portable on carpet but does have wheels. Easy to set up and the three different settings give plenty of options.Very cheap to run, especially if you have an electric plan that has off peak pricing. Roughly uses 1kw a hour on highest setting.

Room is ice cold in under an hour
This air conditioner doesn't disappoint. Most importantly if all, it has strong cooling power. It cooled our bedroom down in under an hour to a comfortable temperature, and then it got COLD. So much so that at night I sleep under the duvet with it running. The setup was simple. As usual with these units, you just need to attach the window hose and hang it out a window. This unit specifically says to drain the water that accumulates in the machine after use, so it'll collect any water in a tank inside the machine, and then you can let this out to drain after which is handy, our other unit needs to be draining while in use with a hose which usually over flows from the container that is catching the water.I haven't used any of thee other functions of the machine as I bought solely to be an air con unit so I can't comment on those. The noise of this machine is also miles better than our other one, it's much quieter so it's easier to sleep with it running and you can watch TV without the volume being turned up to maximum. It is heavy, like all air cons, but it is on wheel which makes transporting it from room to room much easier.

Very effective cooling but accessories somewhat let it down
In terms of its core function for most people - providing quick and easy solution to cooling a space with minimal setup - this definitely does the job. At least when new and with full charge of refrigerant, the unit is able to cool a room almost unbelievably quickly. I'm used to car air conditioning that seems to take a while to get going but this isn't like that at all - it simply starts pumping out cool air almost as soon as its turned on. The fan is strong (if somewhat noisy) and can circulate that cool air around most size rooms quickly and efficiently. I'm using this in an average sized living room and it is able to cool the room comfortably within minutes of being turned on. The only real downside is the heat exhaust pipe. The pipe is firstly just too short - it barely stretches one meter, and since the unit has to be placed at least 30-50cm from any walls, this just isn't long enough to reach a window unless placed right in front of it - the exhaust pipe REALLY needs to be longer. The 'seal' provided for placement around the window is also a major faff to install, especially if being used on ground floor windows that need to be shut when not in use - it relies on velcro for seal and the seal is one-size-doesn't-fit-all. Honestly, the pipe and pipe seal together are almost enough to make you tear your hair out, and its such a shame when the unit itself is so great. The unit is fairly heavy but is easy enough to move around when needed. I've no regrets about buying it since it makes the room so much more bearable in summer, but I really wish they'd put more thought into the heat exhaust pipe and the window seal. As it is, recommended, but 4 stars rather than 5.

Keeps you cool and drys clothes
This is a great unit for keeping your downstairs or upstairs cool. It gets lovely and cool and is quite powerful. It’s great that you don’t have to empty water out of it. It doesn’t cost a lot to run during the day, so you could put it on all day and not have to worry about your bill. I’ve had it on all day and the cost on my smart meter with other electricity use is about £4.50, really pleased. Only downside it is a bit noisy but if it keeps me cool, I really don’t care. The tube could be longer, I’m going to purchase an extender for it. I definitely recommend this product for you. It has been very reliable, it also doubles up as an air dryer in the winter. It dries clothes very quickly over a close airer, which is a lot cheaper than my tumble dryer. The fan feature is also very good. i’ve currently been running the machine for a whole year with no issues. I did purchase the extra cover just in case, as it is expensive but worth it.

Brilliant bit of kit.
It's quite a big deal picking a portable AC unit in the middle of a heat wave as most suppliers have sold out...... however, I found this unit. Luckily for me, it was the last one in stock. 2 day delivery, by DPD. Can't go wrong. I found the advert, description and instructions very helpful on Amazon from a UK company, somewhat incredibly.I'm really not going to use it as a dehumidifier, just to roll back these oppressive temperatures this week. I turned it on at 3pm where it was 30 degrees in my living room. It's now 3.55 and temperature is 25 on medium fan setting. I can't help thinking, how did I function without this? The rest of the house is lunatic hot.The front vent throws out cold air with an up and down swing function. This cannot be adjusted but the horizontal fins can be manually adjusted left/right by way of a plastic finger process. If I have to sleep in the lounge then I'll sleep in the lounge if it means this level of comfort. It's so good this machine. It is NOT light. Can be moved easily by wheels. The delivery driver carried this massively packed cardboard package on his shoulder. I struggled with it and kind of dragged it into the house, then again I am an arthritic old git. For me and my use, this is more than good enough. Comes with a remote control and timer functionality. I think the discharge air vent could have been longer. Fitting the Velcro window screen did not take a genius and whilst it could be faff for some, and it is a little quirky, ultimately, it got fitted and is dumping hot air outside. So far, no difficulty in recommending this brand, company and product and yes, I am a proper paying customer for this ac unit, I'm not a bot or ai. Ask my wife, Brenda Refrigerator. (Just kidding).2 day review. THIS UNIT IS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. Air con isn't cheap but given these violent temperatures (38 in my garden), this was money well spent. Whoever made this, bravo, BRAVO. If you are thinking about getting one, get one.

A temporary solution
Yes it does make the room cooler but- It is sooooo loud- takes a minimum 600w to just under a 1kW when operating- The lowest fan speed feels already very fast due to the sound it emits- the flexi exhaust pipe is way too short to position the unit is preferred location and reach the window. I had to buy extension- depends on a air humidity, it can generate little or A LOT of water, one night a 3ltr container was almost full, since then we use a much bigger one- the display on the unit and remote is super basic, would like to see more info, the functionality is fine, just the display.- you need to keep and store the huge box it arrives in, in case sending back for a warrantyOverall I find it inadequate for the job. It helped us survive the heatwave but this is not a solution.

Powerful and quieter than you expect
We bought this unit to cool down our bedroom before we went to bed. I used a temperature sensor to track how effective it was over time on "Cool" mode and, as you can see, it lowered the temperature significantly in a relatively short space of time, and the air went from feeling thick and muggy to cool and crisp. While my graph shows the entire night, it essentially took about an hour to go from heatwave temps to very comfortable. We haven't used the other modes (apart from briefly testing out "Fan" mode), but it does seem to lower the humidity by a considerable degree which can leave the air feeling quite dry (but this is pretty standard for AC and, if anything, the air feels crisp instead of muggy).Pros:- Relatively low noise: It's a lot quieter than you'd expect. I've had many people tell me that a high noise level is just a natural part of having a portable air conditioner, but this disproves that. There are some air conditioners that rattle and you can't even speak over, this isn't one of them. If you're used to sleeping with a powerful fan, this isn't that much louder, especially if you have it on at the other end of the bedroom. You do occasionally hear a little bit of trickling but that's it.- Looks high-quality: This unit looks and acts like something quite high-end. The automatic fan blades that unfold when you turn it on, the sleek design, the way it just does what you need it to do; it seems very well built.- Instant relief: While it may take time to cool down the overall temperature of the room, you do feel instant, icy relief as soon as it's turned on.- Quick to set up and easy to use: This took about 20 minutes to set up up and 70% of that was fitting the casement window adaptor. Otherwise, it's just a case of connecting the exhaust tube and screwing in the cable organisers (to wind any excess cable round). The castors are pre-fitted.Cons:- Water leakage when moved: while this unit does effectively evaporate air moisture out through the exhaust pipe, if you move the unit around too aggressively (e.g. tilt it or move it quickly) then it does leek a small amount on the floor.- Lack of intensity control: There doesn't seem to be any difference in strength or noise between Low, Medium and High mode. There is also zero difference in noise between Cool and Fan mode.- Oversized window adaptor: The included casement window adaptor is enormous. It does work (even on windows that open outwards, despite the instructions showing the opposite) but the amount of material is a bit excessive and can look untidy.- Difficult to move around: While the unit is quite heavy (but nowhere near as heavy as some units can be), the main problem with moving it is lack of grip. There only one, small hand grip and, though it does have castor wheels, it's very challenging to manoeuvre to another room.Overall, these cons haven't affected our very positive impression of the unit. We would definitely look to buy an identical one for other parts of the house in the future.
