Finally!! This one is perfect!
Take in mind when you read most electric toothbrush reviews, they are coming from manual so OF COURSE YOUR TEETH FEEL AMAZING AND CLEAN, but what about when you’re coming from a really good electric toothbrush (Phillips Sonicare and another cheaper one that both felt like improvements after manual) and there are so many choices without a clear understanding what makes one $79 while another is over $200? I started to go a little crazy trying to figure it out. I asked one dentist to suggest and she said either oral b or sonicare (she doesn’t sell them at the office) while another said oral b (he did sell them) so that was not really helpful. When pressed my dentist who doesn’t sell them prefers oral b and she likes the smaller head. I GET THAT NOW! It’s like I’m polishing each tooth and wrapping the head around the tooth almost and I LOVE THAT! I think the Phillips isn’t getting in between near as well. The thing about either brand is that there is such a wide price range that I couldn’t tell the real $100 difference other than maybe an app and possibly more cleaning modes but that’s about it. I decided to go with oral b to try this round more precise head and went to their website to take the quiz to see what was best for me and this is where I landed. I wanted to stay under $100 (and you can on Black Friday and other big sales but I missed it and paid $119 which isn’t terrible if it’s significantly better than my last electric). I just used it for the first time and MY TEETH FEEL AMAZING , in fact my whole mouth feels so clean. I’m someone who buys a firmer bristle head (NOT HARD but I need to feel scrubbed if makes sense). I think sometimes I may be hard on my gums trying to really scrub my teeth but the happy medium is in this oral b brush head! I’m just not clear which one it is as it came with 2 and says one is ultimate clean and the other is gentle care. I’m assuming it’s ultimate but it’s soft but really dense and just scrubs but it’s gentle on the gums. Love it. Very satisfied. It’s not loud at all and it’s got a great light sensor that indicates when you’re at the perfect pressure. I actually found it quite helpful and it’s clearly visible even if you’re not looking in the mirror. I’m kind of excited about the app because after a long lifetime of heat checkups, something has gone wrong and I’m facing some pretty big restorative dental work so perhaps I’ve been slacking I don’t know But I’m trying to be very diligent and that’s part of the reason for the new purchase. I also felt like my old one wasn’t getting me as clean as it used it so it could be I needed something more aggressive. This is really perfect and considering the price tags you can easily go up to on the big name models, I think this really is the sweet spot for an electric toothbrush ESPECIALLY IF YOU’RE NOT COMING FROM MANUAL. If you’re coming from manual, any real electric toothbrush will be so impressive but I needed to be impressed after exclusively using electric. This is it. I’ve got no doubt about the battery life.. they are all that way.. the travel case is a great touch and it’s nice. Nothing like having your electric toothbrush go off in your closed suitcase when you’re all packed. lol. I was always able to get off brand replacement heads for my sonicare that were great at a fraction of the price. I’ll be interested to see if I can get a real match to this one otherwise it may be worth it to stick brand name. Here’s to your dental health and perfect check ups.

Great Value, Thoughtful Design, and a Noticeably Better Clean
This toothbrush turned out to be a great purchase. I spent a lot of time comparing models, reading reviews, and trying to stay within a reasonable price range, and the Oral-B iO Deep Clean with Protect checked all the right boxes. It feels well-designed and comfortable to use, and the clean is noticeably better than a standard electric toothbrush without being harsh on my gums. The brushing experience feels controlled and thorough rather than aggressive, which I really appreciate. Setup was easy, charging is straightforward, and overall it feels like a quality product that delivers exactly what it promises. I’m very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for an effective, reliable electric toothbrush without going overboard on cost.

Best Toothbrush Ever - and it Smiles at You!!
I never thought I'd pay this kind of price for a toothbrush, but this one is absolutely worth the cost. It is comfortable to use, and the brush head works great, I love that it has timing and buzzes so that you know if you've brushed long enough in each area. The charging is one of the best parts, because you just set it on the charger and it works. Took it on vacation and the carry case is the best, it keeps the brush clean and best of all, it charges while in the case. This is so easy to use, and I'm glad I took the chance and bought this. And even as an adult, there is something satisfying about a toothbrush that smiles at you when you've done a good job of brushing.

It's a nice toothbrush - but be watchful of the inside of the brush head, it can become moldy
Wow. This Oral B is a big improvement over the one I replaced. It’s whisper quiet in comparison, and I really like the pressure sensor light (green if good pressure, red if too much pressure, white if too little pressure). I also like that I can set the brush mode (speed) to “sensitive”, which is what I use exclusively with a sensitive brush head. My older Oral B only oscillated. This newer one both oscillates and micro-vibrates. My old Oral B was about 10-12 yrs old. It still worked perfectly. Buying sensitive brushes had become fairly inexpensive. I’m pretty sure it would have kept on working at least another 5 yrs. However, my hygienist repeatedly told me: “You’re not doing this, you’re not doing that, blah blah blah.” Tiresome. Sometimes the brush would strike under the gum line around a crown and cause lingering pain. I learned about the new Oral B with the pressure sensor and decided to buy one. Here was the surprising thing to me: I wasn’t brushing hard enough, at least according to the pressure sensor. The first time I used it, I was repeatedly in the white zone (too little pressure). Also, here’s the thing that really did it for me, I didn’t really know how to brush correctly. I found a video on YouTube (“Tips On How To Brush with an Oral B Electric Toothbrush” by Murmann Dental Health) that explained and demonstrated exactly how to brush using an Oral B with pressure sensor. That was very illuminating. I highly recommend that or a similar video. The thing that stood out from the video was that our teeth are rounded, so we need to wrap the brush around each individual tooth . I’ve been following what I learned in the video. So far, the brush hasn’t caused pain under the gum line. The IO sensitive brush along with the “sensitive” setting on the device have been a more comfortable brushing experience for me. I’m consistently in the green zone. Hopefully, it all makes a difference at my next dental appointment. I was sorry to see my old Oral B go as it was still useful, but sometimes useful doesn’t mean effective or appropriate for teeth & gum challenges. It can still be useful for other purposes. I have never used the app, so no comment there. The travel case is very nice and will come in handy. The only thing I don’t like about it is it doesn’t include storage for what seems to be a proprietary charger. The charger is two-pin, and I guess it’s supposedly safer to use in wet environments; you may need to include it in your travel bag depending on your travel time. 5 stars from me.

Great toothbush - your dentist will love you again
This is truly an amazing toothbrush. I find this does a much better job of cleaning my teeth and removing plaque. The features are pretty cool-it's the little things, right? You can change the colors of light (where the pressure sensor is) with multiple options. It has a magnetic charger at the base. The case has a charger feature which is a great feature-it comes with a cord and a power adapter-you can't even get that for $1300 cell phones anymore. It even has an interactive display-yes I like the smiley face when I'm done. I haven't tried the app yet, I've been brushing for a long time without one but I'll give it a shot because I do enjoy technology. This is quieter than my first Oral B but still sounds like a small drone in my head, still fairly quiet. The bristles are comfortable. Battery life is pretty good so far. Best part? I got it for a great deal when it was on sale last week. This is light years better than their competitor (rhymes with monic air) which I purchased for a lot more and wish I had returned when I had the chance. I hate it so much I'm willing to give a $200 toothbrush away. It may not be the newest in the iO line but I'm really impressed so far. Time will tell on how durable it is but I'm going to stay with the Oral Be family.

Both Better and Worse than Sonicare
For the past ~2yr, I've been using a mid range Phillips Sonicare model. It was nice but I saw Oral B's rotating head and figured it would probably clean better, so when mine broke, I took the opportunity to buy one. In short, I was right, but there are some downsides as well. I would give both toothbrushes a 4 Star review honestly, and think you have to choose based on what's more important to you. The main argument for Oral B is cleaning. I do feel the Oral B cleans better, but it's hard to say subjectively. I can say that I had my gums bleed in an area my first time using it, which should mean it is working harder to clean, but I also know my Sonicare had a more intense setting that I didn't use - maybe it would have done the same? But then, the oral B has another intense setting too that would surely surpass Sonicare's... They both clean very well, I just felt like the Oral B cleans a little bit better. However - take a look at my photo. There is a tradeoff and that is size. The Oral B head is much larger than the Sonicare head, and it has some hollow parts for the "drive shaft" (note: not a true direct drive shaft). This means two things: 1) every time I brush, I have quite a bit of toothpaste saliva dribbling out vs the Sonicare. It's fine, but noticably messier. 2) it is harder for me to brush my tongue and roof if mouth. I have a sensitive gag reflex and I could get decently far back with the Sonicare, but the Oral B is much bigger and I can't go that far back before I gag. So, all things considered... I actually think I slightly prefer the Sonicare, but not enough to make a fuss. I will use this Oral B until it breaks, and then replace it with a Sonicare. They're both fine toothbrushes, I just have a slight preference towards the Phillips product but you may think otherwise

Miles Better Compared To Sonicare
Compared to my Philips Sonicare, this Oral-B is miles better. Before with my Sonicare, I would still feel plaque on some of my teeth, but this Oral-B leaves them feeling smooth all day long—perfectly clean. All the different settings are nice as well, and the sensation you feel while brushing isn't too harsh or too soft. On top of that, the LED indicator that allows you to put the perfect pressure on your teeth is another plus. It feels very durable and well-made as well. The only mishap I would say this toothbrush has isn't the brush itself, but the app it is connected to. It allows you to see what sections of your teeth you should clean more, along with feedback, but during the cleaning, the app will mistake the left side of my jaw for the right side, creating inaccurate feedback. Despite that, the app isn't that necessary and you can brush just fine without it. Other than that, I think this electric toothbrush is the best one I've ever used. Just make sure to rinse and take off the head for proper cleaning.

Buen producto, mal vendedor

Travel case does not charge.
Brush works great. Only problem is the recharging case does not charge itself and therefore is a big waste.

Oral B rechargeable electronic toothbrush series 7.
I absolutely love this toothbrush. I had an old Oral B that just fell apart after 12+ years. It's an excellent product. Does a great job and the battery lasts quite a long time. It's a bit costly even on sale but well worth it. Any Oral B product is very good as the less expensive ones will do a great job too!
