No lifting cans in the desert
Works as described. Used for fueling off road car and rolling to fuel back yard generators. I find it a bit pricey splurge, but worth it.

BUY IT!!!!!
We bought the one with a pump, it works GREAT!!! Now with that being said, don’t pay attention to the negative reviews! To fill up our Skid Steer with a 5 gallon can you have to raise the loader 8’ in the air and hold the can up shoulder height, it sucks. So we were looking for a transfer tank, we didn’t need a big one. We found this one and it is perfect.

Works well but heavy when full
I have two. One for gas and one for diesel I use them with batteries rather than the wall unit. Batteries last about 4 full tanks. There is no way I can lift 14 gallons of fuel into the bed of my truck, so I have to fill them while they are in the truck bed. Safety suggests that this increases the risk of fire from static discharge when filling gasoline. I make sure to touch the fuel nozzle to the truck bed and the tank before pumping fuel into the tanks. I get someone to help me control the descent when I slip a filled tank down the edge of my truck’s tailgate. The convenience of 14 gallons and the ability to pump fuel into lawn mowers and tractors rather than trying to hold and tilt 5 gallon tanks with those ridiculous safety releases are great. Fuel spillage has been virtually eliminated. I only spill when I forget to put the cap on the discharge before returning it to the tank The discharge hose kinks easily, so pay attention when pumping fuel. You can here the pump change pitch when the line is pinched.

Internal diaphragm ripped and leaks gas’s out of hand pump trigger when in use
It worked great for a couple uses but the internal rubber diaphragm in the hand pump ripped on its own and started squirting fuel out of the trigger area on the hand pump feel like the hand pump is cheaply made and can’t find replacement parts without having to buy a whole new hose and hand pump assembly when the only thing wrong is a small rubber diaphragm so all in all it sucks

Consider using it for your boat dock
It works just as described. I would certainly buy again for any other purpose I might have.
