I had so many questions about this business, and I felt that Mary Larsen laid everything out step by step, leaving out all of the fluff and getting straight to business! It was just what I needed, after reading this book I feel so much more confident in starting my career in Home Staging. I know what I need to do, what forms I need to complete, what websites to go to, and how to market the business successfully. I bought the book NEW and I am glad I did because it comes with a CD that includes all the forms! I will forever have this book, it is a very useful tool. Buy it, you will not be disappointed!Also, given that it was written in 2007 I felt that the marketing techniques still hold in 2015, she did not really touch on social media... so you may want to consider purchasing a book specific to that, but don't pass this book by...

I've bought a few books in the "How to Launch a Redesign and Home Staging Business" genre and most were not worth the money. But Mary Larsen's book was worth every penny I paid for it. Down-to-earth, clearly written, well-organized, and up-beat, it really does give you all the information you need (from a business and marketing perspective) to get started. Lots of really great tips on creative ways to get your name out there, and how to stay organized. Even comes with a CD that includes a template for writing a business plan,as well as lots of handy forms.

I loved this book, I am a fan of interior design and I felt that it gave practical ideas on design.

Good book with forms and advise. Lack of photos given more examples related to the staging techniques. Overall good reading.

This is a great book! It gives a lot of detail on operating your small business and several resources. The book also has a lot of good marketing ideas! I would recommend this book to others.

Many good tips for a beginner or pro! I loved it and will lend it out but hope they return it! Great info with many details to help you be professional and grow!

Very little in this book that isn't common sense. No colour picture. Not worth the money.
