It can get frustrating at times and you may have to be creative and problem solve through a few issues but overall very rewarding. I like these little ones also bc I don’t want models displayed all over my house and these can easily be stored away. The lights are bright and very much worth the price in my opinion. Most of them do not come with the button batteries necessary so you may want to throw those in your cart as well bc some of them have you assemble the lighting before getting into the small stuff. You need to have patience and if each piece doesn’t come out “perfect” it’s ok bc it does not affect the overall look when completed.One thing that always amazes me is that every kit I’ve ever put together, not one tiny bead is ever left out of the kit. There are no extras, so try not to lose any of the tiny parts but they are spot on when they assemble the kits. I have now done about 5 in the series and have found others that aren’t on Amazon on other seller websites that are based in China. **Wink wink**

I do so enjoy putting these together. They are challenging enough to learn something new about assembly,and well packaged so there is assurance of completing the project. ( Good enough for gift giving)

I love these kits and enjoy them very much. Very much a beginners miniature. I had so much fun doing this. Reminder, glue and batteries not included. A must have for a collector of small things.

Definitely not for a beginner, although this is a cute and well thought out set. Just a helpful reminder that not all miniatures are made to follow the same build process. There are different levels of complexity that comes when building miniatures. I have worked with all different types/brands. When I want something relaxing, I work on a set that is made to snap, click and set. When I want something more challenging, I choose sets like this one where every construction takes time, dexterity and the patience it calls for. This set is made for the typical crafter that likes to create something from materials that uniquely fit with other materials to form a structure (like the floor lamp and chandeliers in this one…whew!). This set requires the use of tweezers and a whole lot of crafter’s glue. Some items are ready-made (like small cabinets, and tub) but others are literally done from scrap level. Just rely on the creators ‘big picture mentality’ and you’ll learn to appreciate the process. It took me 7 total days (nonconsecutive hours) and the end-result was most satisfying! I’m looking forward to working on the other three I purchased from this series!Tip: 1) do take inventory or everything in the box including all the tiny beads; you’ll feel more confident during construction 2) lookup videos for this set so that you can get a better idea of how to construct each piece as you go along. It helps your sanity, trust me!
