Helpful tool
I work for a childcare center and have my own business helping children learn to read, so creating booklets is a frequent activity for me. This tool is helpful in cutting a few papers at a time. Learning the size of the singlets will come over time. Some singlets are cut slightly different so be aware of product size as you buy to use with this.

Easier than I thought it would be
Purchased this binding machine to help keep my notes and other things together so I don't lose them. It was a little confusing to me at first on the comb ends on how to place them on the machine. Once I figured it out it was pretty easy. Just make sure you decide how many holes you want before punching. I had to trim off a couple of the ends before realizing I had to many holes for what I wanted. Will use this for our church directory.

Inexpensive and on time delivery
Super product and works as described. I am using it on a small A5 size pamphlet with 29 pages of 21 pound paper with a 65 pound front and back cover. The punch has settings to match A5 paper size AND comes with some black 5/16 inch comb binders

Works perfect!
Bought the binder for a real estate office and it works perfect for creating market analysis. Very good value for the money and has been a great addition to the office supplies. We are over put it on the bottom shelf and if it’s perfectly.

Wanted to work...but doesn't do well at all
I wanted this product to work. I bought all the supplies to make user manuals for a new program. Printed them and started punching.First, the punching takes a bit of time, 12 sheets max. The punch collector on the bottom us useless. After one manual, I had punch tabs all over my desk that resembled a well-known election ballet in Florida. It was a mess! The handle is weak and the machine actually "flexes" when you pull down to punch. Very weak design and flimsy operation.Second, I tried punching 12mil clear sheets. They punched with a little bit of effort but getting them out was nearly impossible. The punches stayed attached to the clear sheet and you physically have to "rip" the cover out from the machine.Trying to get them into the tabs is a feat in and of itself. It takes effort and patience as the machine "holder" that holds the binding open moves around a lot. With the flex of the binding in the machine itself (can't hold the binding open steady at all), it's very difficult to align the holes up for the tabs in the binding.Unfortunately, this machine is more of a headache than it's worth, and the sad part is, I needed it for a project and it took way longer than it should have. It's too used to be returned so it'll have to do but won't get used often, unfortunately. With so many supplies, I think I'll be searching for a sturdier machine. You get what you pay for, I guess.

Works well once you know what you can do with it.
This does the job I needed to do. However, it seems really easy to get paper stuck in it. It says it will hold 12 sheets, but I’m using braille paper so I automatically know I have to go with 8 to 10. Even eight sheets get stuck too easily. I recommend putting no more than three sheets at a time. Then putting items on the comb… Well let’s just see if you’re using decent combs it will work well. If your combs are cheap, look for there to be problems.I also noticed when I accidentally get four or five sheets instead of three put in it, it feels like the thing is going to break when I press down really hard. The arm does not feel all that sturdy. It came with no directions, let alone something I could actually read independently. If you don’t already know how to use this product, go to YouTube and look for homeschool families that use book binding machines. They will give you a good explanation of how they work.
