I was skeptical at first as to whether or not this would actually work. To my surprise, it did work. It took longer than the instructions stated it would, but it still did it's job. The only draw back is that you need to be near a power source in order to use it. Even though the description says this can be used for camping, that's not really true unless you bring along a portable power source with you, since it needs electricity to work. So far I've only used it to get wood started, which takes a while, but I bet charcoal would ignite a lot faster than wood would.
