High Quality Materials and Craftsmanship
Our architect recommended the Aquor system for our new modern home. Aesthetically and functionally, we're thrilled with the results, and you don't have to worry about protruding hosebibs freezing up and bursting. We also purchased their hoses, which are very sturdy and don't kink. All materials and craftsmanship are of high quality.

3 notch, not 2. Can be modified to work with the old 2 notch.
It looks and feels like a good quality part. Has the check valve internal. Nice cap on the oring side. Annoying part of these quick disconnects like this and jabsco, is there is a old style and new style. This new style has 3 notches. The old style, that happened to be on my boat, has 2 notches. The only 2 notch fitting I could find online was on ebay for ~50$. No thanks, 2nd hand price-gouger. Luckily the the only (apparent) difference is the 2 vs 3 notches, all other diameters and lengths are about the same. I used my el cheapo milling machine to cut a straight groove (3/16" I recall, width of the notch) on each side, then used a dremel with a carbide de-burring bit to do the rotate-to-lock part. It works! You could do the whole thing with a dremel, this isn't precise machining. The 3 notch grooves are still there, but now they have DYI 2 notch grooves as well. Will probably work with both types. But it locks in nice at 15$ and 20-30 min of tinkering.

Perfect replacement
I needed this for an upgrade to my outdoor faucet. It worked perfectly.

Material needs to be more durable
Although I like the system, in the 3 years we have had it in use, we have had to replace them multiple times due to cracks and breakage of the plastic. We use them as intended. So my only complaint is they are not durable. Wish they were made with a more durable material.

Requires modification to prevent snapping if dropped
Works well but is very hard plastic and brittle - snaps if dropped . I’ve bought several of these because of this reason and now I add insulation tape around them to cushion in case it gets dropped again.
