TD21 2K 3MP Battery Doorbell Camera Wireless, Colour Night, IP65

This camera was easy to set up, the chime took a while to set up as it kept saying network error but it didn't eventually start working once I reset it and started again. Mounting was easy enough with the screws. I opted for the wedge and honestly it's very sturdy and good. The battery came only 27% charged so I charged it. To get it off the base you need the little gadget in the box - keep it safe. It set itself up with Alexa without me trying and everything is working as it should. Took a while to get the ring facility to work on my phone but I have tried it a few times now and it has worked each time. I have an SD card in it and that was simple enough and it told me it was working. Overall quite impressed with the video quality. It's not amazing but it's certainly good. I've turned off all the settings for motion sensing other than person as I have a busy street. I like this camera. Not sure on battery life yet as only set up today and can't comment on the night vision as it's not dark yet but I imagine based on what I have seen so far both will be good. If your worried I say buy it - it's great for the price.

Good value door bell, picture is very clear with loads of features and adjustments available., easy to set up using the app ,local storage so no cloud bills to pay. included chime is good. Battery lasts about 4 months for me with what i would say is normal use so i find that acceptable and its easy too recharge. overall I'm glad i chose this doorbell.

been really impressed with the Tapo TD21 Battery Video Doorbell. The 2K 3MP video quality is sharp and clear, making it easy to recognise visitors and deliveries during both the day and at night. The colour night vision is a great feature and gives much better visibility than I expected. The installation was straightforward, and the Tapo app was quick to set up. I also like that it includes AI detection for people, pets, and vehicles helping to reduce unnecessary alerts. The two-way audio is clear, so it’s easy to speak with visitors even when I’m away from home. One of the biggest advantages is that you don’t need to pay a monthly subscription if you use a microSD card for local storage, which can save money over time. Overall, it’s an excellent combination of quality, features and value for money. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable wireless video doorbell.

The video quality is very good and can be switched between 360p and 2K HD. There's an option to have full colour night vision which is a handy feature. The recording feature was easy to use but drains a lot of the battery (had this around 6 weeks and battery is already at 60%). It's also very sensitive and I kept getting notifications for "motion" when it was actually just a nearby tree branch blowing in the wind. This also drains a lot of battery but the sensitivity can be changed and mine is now at 1 whilst still detecting people and vechiles. It's AI detection feature is mostly accurate however sometimes it detects cars and vans as 'people motion', but again you can correct the event type in the app and this helps train the AI on future detection events. It is easy to set up with a setup guide within the app. I already have another Tapo camera in the app so it was easy to connect to wifi. I mounted this with my own adhesive stickers as the ones provided were not secure or strong enough, and even became non-sticky once removed from the wrapper. It is probably best attached with nails but if you have to attach it to a plastic door frame or brick like me, you'll need to buy seperate strong adhesive stickers. Overall this is a good all-round, first doorbell camera that has worked well for me. I bought this when on offer and it was £5 cheaper than another Tapo doorbell that looks similar but is actually the exact same just a different name (basically it is the same product but one is for the EU market and the other US market). It also comes with a doorbell chime that you plug-in which the ring volume and sound can be adjusted from the app. Tapo also has a range of features like Smart actions and community help forum.

Really love my Tapo doorbell. It was so easy to fit outside my door in my flat stairwell and I just love the integration with Alexa that means I was able to easily set up a routine to automatically trigger the video feed on my Echo Show devices whenever movement is detected. The video quality is high quality, works in a variety of lighting conditions and once I added a SD card for storing recordings locally it makes it a breeze to go back and review all the events that have triggered it over time - without having to pay for a subscription of any kind. The main thing you miss by not using "Tapo care" appears to be some AI detection functionality, but there is so much to this product that you really won't miss this. It's also very flexible in that you can adjust the sensitivity/range that triggers events, and you can also choose to have the doorbell automatically ring your phone, etc. when someone pushes the button - and I also like that when movement is triggered the small circle on the doorbell that surrounds the push-button illuminates to draw someone's attention to it. It's really easy to fit - I used the adhesive pads supplied, rather than the screw-in approach, and it has been rock-solid in terms of its adhesion now for months. And indeed the battery lasts an extremely long time - I typically only have to charge it once every few months (although if there are more events that trigger it to come to life then the charging cycle would be compressed). Mind you, even if you charge it more frequently, it takes moments to detach it from the fitting frame and then charge it up (using any USB-C charger). Overall, this is an extremely functional piece of security equipment. It connected to my WiFi without any difficulty whatsoever, has a great, highly intuitive app, and has been one of the best products in this area that I've bought - I just love the extra reassurance it offers so that I can see the stairwell outside my flat whenever I want (and I definitely believe it deters anti-social behaviour). Highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic camera ring bell. Easy to install no added extra with subscriptions, simply put SD card in and view from phone. Talk to visitors, record and save to SD card really good battery life. Will definitely recommend this and Will probably buy another for the back door. Colour night vision is clear. Can zoom out or in. It is what they say it is

Oh this is great! Much better than I thought it would be. Glad I didn't go for a much more expensive option with a monthly subscription!! This does the job and a half for me. I don't really need recordings that stay in the cloud or whatever. Just one tip: when you first connect it, the settings and quality of video and all makes the battery drain quickly. Literally used 20% in couple of days, then I changed the settings and it's been 6 months since I had it on and the battery is still at 40%!!! Great value for money and there are many options for the ringtones as well, both on your phone and on the device inside the house. I used the wedge that was provided to have a wider angle.

Me gustó y lo compré porque todo lo que tendí en domótica es topo. Funcionó con el timbre dentro de casa la primera vez. Ya no hay manera de configurarlo. Así que tengo cámara en la calle pero no timbre (ese era él propósito principal)
