I’ve been using the X870 AORUS ELITE WIFI7 ICE in my build and honestly have no complaints. I went with it because I liked how the white board stands out in an otherwise dark build, and it ended up being one of the best-looking parts in the case without being too flashy. Everything installed easily and the layout is solid. The M.2 and GPU release features are nice touches, especially if you swap parts or add storage later. It has plenty of USB ports, Wi‑Fi 7, 2.5Gb LAN, and more than enough room for future upgrades. It’s not the cheapest motherboard out there, but it feels like a quality board and has worked great for me. If you want a good AM5 board with strong features and a clean look, I’d definitely recommend

Absolutely beautiful motherboard full of expansion options and top of the line performance for a very fair price. This was my first build with rgb lighting and liquid cooling. I was extremely impressed with the number and variety of ports available for fans, cooling, usb hard drives, rgb, and argb. The motherboard has been running stable and has so far been very reliable. I am particularly impressed with the onboard error code and diagnosis display that once you are running windows displays the cpu temperature. The bios is the most customizable I have ever seen and allows to to control fan speeds, monitor voltages and temperatures in a variety of locations across the board with visual indications and has several options to take advantage of high end cpus that can automatically overclock aspects of the board while maintaining stability of the system. What I like most about this compared to a prebuilt is that this provides so many options to expand in the future whether I want to use one of the 4 data ports, add 3 more m.2 ssds or use some of the other 3 pci express ports for even more usb ports, audio, or more storage.

Great Motherboard! High quality lots of connectivity. That said don't use the 3rd or 4th M. 2 slots as you will cut your GPU lanes from 16 to 8 lanes (Just an FYI as that is a deal breaker for some) . Other than that the front HDMI and power buttons on board make it a great test bench or for when your adding parts or working on your PC and don't want to hook everything up. Personally they could have added one more ARGB header as 3 is good but in high end builds with multiple sets of fans and Cooler as well as accessories sometimes 3 isn't enough. I got this at a very low price in used excellent condition and Woot has it cheap sometimes as well it's a great value for the money for an X870 Chipset motherboard and accommodates my 9800X3D and 5080 quite well. Very nice build quality and I build PCs for a living so I see a lot of boards. Install was a breeze and BIOS had many features and is constantly updated. Overall I am very happy with this ICE version for my all white build.

great product- but DO NOT BUY ON AMAZON. They sent me a returned motherboard that came without half of the parts and MULTIPLE BROKEN CPU PINS. I AM STILL FIGHTING FOR A REFUND. SAFE URSELF THE TIME AND BUY FROM A REAL SELLER

With the exception of one thing, this board is great. The pricing is frequently excellent, compared to many x870 boards, while generally providing a feature set well above that of other x870 boards. The board is very heavy, which may be an issue for some, but it does make the board feel like significantly more premium. A lot of that weight comes from the various heatsinks and m.2 covers, and they do an excellent job, so much so that the vrm fan on my AIO basically hasn't ever come on. The board design in white is fantastic, and I must point out how many things have been colored matched to make the board almost entirely silver or white. It really does look excellent. Ports are for the most part placed in very good locations, although I would have perhaps appreciated an additional fan header on the top of the board for rear exhaust fans. One small quibble is that the sata ports are unfortunately directly beneath where a gpu would sit, making it very difficult to mess around with. Ideally, these would just be moved down into the space between the top pcie slot and the bottom two. My one real gripe with this board is the pcie lane sharing. To put it frankly, I really don't like how it's done. On this board, you have three gen5 nvme slots and one gen4 slot. However, to support those extra two gen5 nvme slots, the use of either results in the *gpu* pcie lanes being cut to x8. I frankly do not understand why this board chose to priotize gen5 ssd slots when they have little purpose for the vast majority of users. These being gen4 would have been much better, because as it is, I cannot really use those two slots unless I am willing to potentially give up performance (granted, gen4 x8 is far far faster than most gpus/workloads need, but it can impact others). Provided you can live with the lane sharing arrangement, this board is excellent. The bios 8-segment display, easy release button (a huge QoL feature, something I sorely needed on my last motherboard), and almost entirely toolless design makes it just a breeze to use. Oh, and it supports windows dynamic lighting! No need for external RGB software... unless you want your RAM to match lol

This was very easy to set up: everything was very clearly labelled. And the ice white color is a nice contrast inside my very black case. The little plastic holder for connecting case wires was very thoughtful, since that can be one of the most difficult, tedious steps in building a system. The main NVME connection has a very thick, well-finned heat sink. The other three NVME slots have heat sinks, although they share a hinged aluminum cover to dissipate the heat. Since I had originally bought an NVME WITH a heat sink, I couldn't fit the drive under the heat sink; I had to exchange the drive for one without a heat sink. The drive runs at about 110F under my usage loads. It has a PCIE slot aimed at seating modern two-slot GPUs. Note: The catch release button for pulling the GPU out can be difficult to reach with a card installed *and* an NVME under the primary heat sink. It has a lot of USB and Thunderbolt connections. It has Wifi-7 and a nicely-designed external antenna with a magnetic base that sticks happily to my steel case, but I've been unable to get it to make a Wifi connection. I use Linux, so maybe support for that chip simply isn't available yet. The 2.5GBit Ethernet port worked after I compiled a kernel module for it. Before that, a USB-C-to-Ethernet adapter worked out of the box. My router only does 1GB Ethernet, so I don't expect to be getting the full speed out of it until a router upgrade. There was a collision between this motherboard's RAM slot placement, the Patriot Viper RAM I got, my case, and the water cooler I'm using. The radiator stuck out far enough into the space above the RAM slots that I couldn't fit the RAM and the radiator at the same time. I was able to finagle fitting the radiator in at an angle that kept it out of the way. Something to think about if you intend to water cool this board. I ran CPUMark on this and my old i9 laptop. With a Ryzen 9 9950X in it, this is 4-5 times faster, so well worth it.

Very beautiful motherboard, works well and everything. Of course the gigabyte software is not the best but other than that everything works amazingly

A Stunning Motherboard for My Dream PC Build! Wow—this motherboard is an absolute beast! From the moment I unboxed the GIGABYTE X870 AORUS ICE, I knew I had something special. The frosted white design is just gorgeous and gives my build a sleek, futuristic look. Paired with my high-end components, it feels like the foundation of a truly next-gen PC. Performance-wise? Flawless. The PCIe 5.0 support, DDR5 compatibility, and insane VRM setup make this a powerhouse for overclocking and high-performance gaming. The BIOS is well-designed, and I had zero issues dialing in my settings. A couple of minor gripes: 1. I wish it had two USB 3.0 headers for the front I/O—most modern cases can use them, and having just one feels like a small oversight. 2. The D8/08/D1/O1 LED bug can be a little annoying, but it doesn’t seem to affect functionality. Hopefully, a BIOS update fixes it soon! That said, those are tiny issues in an otherwise perfect motherboard. If you’re building a high-end PC and want performance, style, and reliability, this is it. Highly recommend!

No venían manuales, se sentía como si estuviera abierto el paquete, tenía más cosas una b450 que compre unos años atrás. No funciona el WiFi 7, ya actualice a windows 11 y sigue sin funcionar, tendré que invertir más en un pci de wifi7, tampoco funciona Bluetooth. La estética es estupenda pero también deben saber que puede dar algunos problemas configurará al inicio, se nota que le falta soporte y drivers más competentes.

worked great for a while, motherboard standoffs were hard to install and it fried itself after a few months though

Hat alles was man braucht, auch 2 x 2 Pin Anschlüsse für externe Temperatursensoren. Steht leider nicht in der Anleitung. Sind in der nähe der Batterie ;)

Great motherboard, lots of usb ports and pie slots. The colour works well with my current case and other components and my computer has been running flawlessly since installing this motherboard
