Great motherboard
I recently built my PC around this white ROG motherboard, and I’m extremely impressed with the overall experience. The quality is exactly what you’d expect from a premium board—solid construction, clean PCB design, and excellent attention to detail. The white finish looks fantastic in a themed build and really makes the whole system stand out. For the price, it’s definitely a premium product, but you’re paying for reliability, features, and aesthetics. Compared to lower-tier boards, the stability and performance make it worth the investment, especially if you want a clean, high-end build. Durability has been excellent so far. The board feels very robust, with strong reinforced PCIe slots and high-quality components throughout. Everything runs cool and stable even under load, which gives me confidence in its long-term reliability. The amount of USB ports do not let you down, there are plenty of them to ensure you can connect anything! Ease of use is another strong point. The BIOS is user-friendly and intuitive, making setup and tuning straightforward even for less experienced builders. Installation was smooth, all headers were clearly labeled, and compatibility with other components was seamless. Overall, this white ROG motherboard is a fantastic choice for anyone building a high-performance or aesthetic-focused PC. It delivers excellent quality, solid durability, good ease of use, and premium value for the price. Highly recommended for a clean and powerful build.

Rock solid AM5 board, Q-Release Slim and the dual M.2 heatsinks are standout features
Built this into a new system with a Ryzen 9 9800X3D and it's been flawless since day one. No BIOS hiccups, no fiddling to get RAM running at rated speed, which is more than I can say for some boards I've used in past builds. A few things stood out: Q-Release Slim makes GPU removal painless. No more wedging a screwdriver next to the PCIe slot to hit the release latch, you just press the button on the edge of the board. Small thing, but it's the kind of detail that shows ASUS actually listened to builder complaints. The 16+2+2 power stage design keeps the 9800X3D running cool under sustained load, even with a basic case fan setup. Temps stayed reasonable during extended gaming sessions and benchmark runs. All 4 M.2 slots have dedicated heatsinks, which matters if you're running multiple NVMe drives. No throttling on the primary drive even under heavy file transfers. WiFi 7 connectivity has been stable, no dropouts, and noticeably faster transfer speeds on my home network compared to the WiFi 6 board it replaced. BIOS is clean and easy to navigate if you want to do any manual tuning, and the Dynamic OC Switcher and AEMP memory profiles take a lot of the guesswork out of getting stable performance without spending hours testing RAM timings. Only minor gripe: I paid more than the current $206 price when I bought mine, so if you're shopping now, you're actually getting strong value here. Even at full list, the build quality and feature set hold up well against boards that cost more for fewer features. Paired with a [RTX 5070 Ti], this thing handles everything I throw at it without complaint. Highly recommend if you're building a new AM5 system and want a board that won't be the weak link.

Clean-looking motherboard with strong features
This motherboard looks really good, especially if you are going for a clean white or lighter PC build. It has a premium feel and gives you a lot of features for a serious setup. Installation was straightforward, and everything felt solid once it was in the case. I like that it has WiFi built in and enough options for a modern build. It is not the cheapest motherboard, but it feels like you are paying for quality.

Great
Excellent motherboard with outstanding build quality and performance. Installation was easy, the BIOS is user-friendly, and it runs fast and stable with DDR5 memory. The WiFi 7 support and plenty of M.2 slots make it a great choice for a high-end gaming PC. Highly recommended!"

You pay for what you get!
I love Asus boards. They always come with all the extras and make things easy. Great for newer builders and overall a really solid board. I was throughly impressed with the quality. Boot is super quick, bios is easy to navigate. Ai makes it super easy to get the most out of components.

I recommend purchasing!
Hello everyone. I purchased this motherboard at the end of January 2026. While assembling the computer, I encountered a compatibility issue with the Crucial Pro DDR5, 32 GB (2x16 GB), 6400 MHz, CL32 memory—it wouldn't start. Luckily, I had another stick of DDR5 RAM on hand. Using the other RAM, I was able to update the BIOS to the latest version, after which the Crucial Pro DDR5, 32 GB (2x16 GB), 6400 MHz, CL32 memory started working. In the BIOS, I configured the AMD Ryzen 7 9700X processor settings with an increased TDP of 105 watts and set the EXPO 1 RAM mode to 6400 MHz. The motherboard memory is good, but there are issues with the ASUS Armoury Crate software. After every update, the settings get reset and there are issues with the ARGB backlight. But overall, the motherboard met all expectations. I recommend it.

Missing a feature but still an amazing choice
Coming from a higher end motherboard on an 9th gen i9 I was a bit spoiled so it docked a star but don’t let this fool you. The motherboard is beautiful, just the right amount of rgb and the white just looks incredible with the metal. One of my favorite features on these higher end motherboards is the push to start button. No more having to manually short the pins to see if everything’s working fine. Another of my favorite features on this motherboard is the tool less nvme access so easy to plug in a drive and remove! Bought this mainly cause I was getting a ram issue on my other motherboard (Msi) and I’m just more used to asus products. Worked great be moment I popped it in, definitely recommend. The DP to usb was incredibly useful as well since I was able to use a portable monitor while diagnosing instead of unplugging my current build. Now here’s the reason I docked a star unfortunately I was very used to my old motherboard having a number code on a led in the top right showing me what’s wrong with the boot process. This being “led” lights definitely took me back because diagnosing what was wrong became a little more difficult than I’m used to. But in the end. I 100% recommend.

Great mobo
The mobo looks great, it is good quality. And zero compatibility issues with it. Paired with my r7 9800x3d. It worked just fine right out of the box. Yeah I need a bios update but it was just so easy and convenient. Advantage is you don't even need m.2 ssd coolers. Can have 4 m.2 ssd. And so many usb ports. I don't even see a reason to cheap out on that mobo. It was 30% off when I bought it, if it is still 30% off. Do the jump. (Had a DOA from MC and live too far from it to justify going back for an exchange and the RMA process is painful. So I am glad I pulled the trigger on this one. ) Get a better cpu bracket to prevent bent pins on any am5 mobo.

Excellent board
Excellent board paired with 9800X3D and 4 M2 drives, swapped in my old operating system and 32gb of 6000mhz ram and away it went. Under volting and overclocking is a breeze on this board and as i bought it a lot cheaper than it is now i reckon it was great value.

Worth Every Penny
I spent a lot of time comparing motherboards for the Ryzen 9 9950X before making my decision, and I’m glad I chose this one. One of my biggest priorities was VRM quality, especially for a high-end CPU, and this board has been rock solid. Power delivery has been excellent, temperatures have stayed well under control, and the overall system has been stable under heavy workloads. The BIOS is easy to work with, memory compatibility has been flawless, and everything simply works as expected. It feels like a motherboard built for long-term reliability rather than just impressive specifications on paper. If you’re pairing a Ryzen 9 9950X—or any high-end Ryzen processor—with an X870 motherboard, don’t just compare features. Take the time to research VRM design, BIOS quality, and real-world stability. Those factors made all the difference in my decision, and I’m very happy with the result.
