Using this daily with my work laptop and it’s been great. It’s compact enough to toss in a bag but still feels really solid and well made. All the ports work smoothly, no issues with plugging things in, and it handles multiple devices without struggling. USB-A and USB-C ports transfer fast, and it’s been great for keeping my setup tidy. HDMI worked fine for me with an external monitor, though I’ve only tested it a couple of times. Charging through the hub is decent but not the fastest if you’re powering bigger stuff. It works perfectly - one HDMI port, two USBC ports and two USBA porta. This is my second of these and kept permanently in my AmazonBasics 14inch laptop bag so that I won't forget while away from home.

I am unfortunate enough to regularly move clients with my work, and often have to use their supplied device. Microsoft stuff seems to work fine most of the time, Apple not so much - every time I get a different MacBook I seem to have to buy a new adaptor to work with it. FWIW this box is used with a 2020 MacBook Air and (multiple) external 1920x1080 Monitors This Anker adaptor looked like it would solve my problem for a good while, HDMI for an external monitor and USB-C power pass through and 2x old style USB sockets for headset / graphics pad / pen drive The adaptor is fairly compact, plastic (but seems decently robust) and is pretty cheap. It gets warm in use (at HDMI end) but nothing scary - BUT, the MacBook plugged in through this doesn't charge properly from it. The laptop will report "charging" but only maintains battery level while plugged in to the adaptor, so I have to remember to charge the laptop properly if I spend time away from my desk. UPDATE Jan 2024 - another issue I have had is the HDMI signal not working correctly - but intermittently. Sometimes, while connected and working, the monitor would go to sleep due to no HDMI signal, then wake up, then go to sleep. Every second or so - in an endless cycle. Changing cables, settings etc didn't help. Anker agreed to replace the hub under warranty

Overall great puchase Only thing is i ordered it for my macbook pro when ordering i thought the material is made out of aluminum But when i got it i got to know its plastic Otherwise the product is fantastic i always love Anker products over ugreen and others

De USB hub is precies wat ik nodig had voor de iPad Air. Externe voeding er op aangesloten en alle apparaten (USB-C en USB-A) hebben voldoende voeding via de hub. Tevens 2e scherm via HDMI is echt een uitkomst. De USB hub is klein en mooi afgewerkt en simpel mee te nemen.
