Those who write that the product doesn't work are expecting the impossible; no product will remove burnt-on residue that needs to be cleaned physically. The product copes with grease perfectly, and the smell is not strong at all.

It’s great for removing oily stains

This stuff is amazing for I needed it for. I’ve lived in my house for 12 years and I’ve NEVER cleaned the top of my stove. I never look up there so it never occurred to me. While decorating for Christmas, I noticed the top of it. Nothing would clean it. This stuff cut thru the dust and grease no problem. The only complaint I have is it left streaks. I’d much rather have streaks than all the gross stuff that was up there before. I can’t see up there easily so it won’t be noticeable. I’m writing this in case someone else wants to use this for a more visible space. I would very annoyed if it was an appliance that was visible all the time. Just wanting to let you know. It’s something to take into consideration.
