How do you use this exactly please?

You can use it a few different ways, you can add one scoopful to a regular wash to keep clothes bright, or alternatively apply a mix of the powder and water to stains that you can't wash (ie upholstery or carpets) and then dab away, or finally soak clothes in a bucket of oxiclean and water, for tougher stains. You can also use it to clean patios and hard surfaces - but the ways you can use it are all explained really well on the back of the tub. Hope this helps!

Does this work on baby formula stains?

I have not used it personally for this purpose but I think the person who recommended it to me did.
