7 months ago I posted this great review. It is still working but now has an awful loud noise. The vendor was helpful with a solution. It looks small but started making ice in less than 10 minutes from startup. Not really low noise but that's not a deal breaker. It needs to be refilled with water frequently. We used Brita filtered water and there's no bad taste. After 10 more minutes we had about an 8 ounce cup of ice. Seemed like a slow start but made ice non stop after that. Filling a 40 oz. cup in 20 minutes. Very happy with it!

Two words. Sonic ice. I absolutely love this machine! I got one for my daughter too, hers stopped working within a month but we were able to get a replacement easily!

Terrible customer service. I messaged them twice, they never responded. Ice maker was great in the beginning, making ice very quickly and ice is super chewable. But it started making a deafening grinding sound after only 3 months of use. It seizes up because the ice gets stuck where it's supposed to spit it out. For $150 it should last a little longer than that. Very disappointed.

Amazing! Best ice and it lasts in your cup! It is a bit noisy however just as a warning if someone is looking for a quiet appliance this isn’t it!

We went from an expense GE Ice maker to this model. I have to say, I was impressed enough to buy 2 of them. Been using it for about a month PROS: Small, soft, Chewable ice! Easy to use out of the box. No complicated setup. Small footprint & portable (if needed), includes an optional handle Produces ice VERY fast. CONS: No easy way to see water level. No view window or simple way to see the water level. No convenient place to hold the ice scoop. We keep ours on top, but would have been nice to have a little inset for it Can be a little noisy. Its not loud by any means, but it isn't silent (60-70db) The ice tends to pile up so the hopper doesn't get to be completely full before it shuts off As yet unknown, is how easy it will be to clean the inner parts and hoses (if any). Our GE was so difficult, I had to carve out an hour each month just to service it.

This ice maker works great - it is my favorite kind of ice! It really makes a lot over time too. Highly recommend!

I purchased this ice maker three months ago for my camper. It has been awesome to use and produces ice very quickly. I never noticed any bad smell aside from just the mild newness smell which quickly subsided. I use bottles spring water and have had great tasting ice with no calcium build up so far. It seems to be durable but time will tell as to how long it will last. It is a great size for one or two people however, I would get a larger one if I had need for 4 or more people. It doesn't take up too much space which is also a benefit in a camper where countertop space is limited, I would recommend.

A little noisy when making ice but works great!
