26ft Curtain Glide Tape Clear, Smooth and Silent Drapery Ring Glide Tape for Sliding Drapery

I rarely write reviews, but I had to for this product. This rod tape was life changing for me! I struggled with opening and closing curtains every single day on 3 different rods. I heard about curtain rod tape so I had to try it. My curtains slide easily and quietly now. My curtains no longer frustrate me. I wish I had known about this years ago.

Makes opening and closing my curtains so much easier over a long curtain rod where the curtains were getting stuck on the divets. It’s not perfect and still requires some extra work as the curtain gets stuck from time to time.

My child's blackout drapes were always a pain to close and we do it twice a day since he's a young toddler who takes naps. I came across this stuff and thought how nice it would be for short little me to easily close the curtains without trying to jump the loops over the extention separation on the rod. After installing, my jaw dropped at how quiet and easy it was to glide the curtains across! The next time I went to close them, I about threw them. I had gotten so used to fighting the curtains twice a day, it took me by surprise when they cooperate. I also ended up with more than I needed and brought the extra to my parents house. My mom was also amazed at how easily her curtains opened and closed while being quiet. She even texted me the next morning to tell me how she smiled when she opened the curtains because of the ease. I love how something so simple made so many of us so happy! I would say its plenty durable and the value for the easy and smiles was absolutely worth it!

I usually use Amazon products within the return period but this got put in draw because I needed to hem and add sheers to a couple rods. Well I put this up today 5 months later and this stuff is amazing. Curtains glide easily and here I've been struggling daily to open and shut them. It is hard to start the red to peel, but once started it comes off east. Sure wish I put it up 5 months ago!!

Put this on a shower rod and it works great. The curtains slide easily back and forth and I am hopeful that it will stop the rod from rusting like all my old ones since the hooks don't slide directly on the rod and won't scratch the paint on it.

Waste of money and time! Buy a new rod or better yet a rod cover!!!

There was a character on TV whose obsession was silent curtain runners. She would have loved this! Now my curtain opens smooth and quietly. I'm not crazy about the adhesion, my curtain rod is not very big, and can only hope it strengthens with time. If not, I may superglue it to my curtain rod. The idea is perfection, the execution slightly less. I am happy with this purchase. Wow!

Absoluter Gamechanger! Wir haben eine aussziehbare Gardinenstange - und natürlich blieben die Haken an der einen Seite immer hängen. Dank des Gleitbandes super easy gleiten. Bei der Anbringung muss man natürlich darauf achten, dass man das Band nicht ausversehen genau in den Knick klebt - ist meinem Mann passiert - dort hakt es natürlich immernoch leicht :-)

Excellent solution. People complaining about "sticking" evidently didn't follow the instructions and removed both the red tape (correct) and the clear plastic side too (incorrect), leaving behind only the adhesive in the middle - you're only meant to remove the red tape, then stick the exposed adhesive to the rail, leaving the clear plastic side for the curtain rings to slide over. Another buyer gave a good tip (see image) - to put an initial layer of tape down on the thin/inner pole, to even out the pole thicknesses (top of the pole is now one height); then apply one long strip end-to-end, essentially applying one layer to the thicker/outer pole and 2 layers to the thinner/inner pole. This avoids any dip in the middle, if that bothers you. Done properly, the curtains glide effortlessly.

This tape is amazing. My door curtain got caught on the curtain pole every time I tried to pull the curtain shut. It annoyed me so much. Put this tape along the top of the pole. The curtain now glides shut easily, it does'nt even make a sound.
